I couldn't say better myself. If you have other expenses now don't buy any more toiletries. It's only going to add to that lay out. Hope you feel better today.

Thank you. Feeling much better, OH and I went out for a two hour walk in the snow and brunch out. Cleared out the cobwebs nicely.

Again have been super good, went in to Boots as needed to pick up some medication. Kept wandering around thinking 'ooh radox is on half price' or 'I could just pick something up', but just kept thinking how I had loads of products still to use up and would treat myself to something I really wanted in due course. Ended up walking out with just the one thing I went in for, paid for on points.

Back home and curled up for the day, hope everyone's keeping warm.

96 Sure deo spray - from husbands travel bag WBA but no need just yet

97 Lush ultrabland WNBA this was recommended in lush for my misbehaving skin but I hated everything about it. I may have continued if It had had any effect but sadly if anything it made it worse.

Am surprised to report a UU in the form of Elemis Evening Blossom body oil 50ml. Got this as part of the last TSV and am pretty impressed by it. In comparison to the Frangipani oil it does not solidify so is easy to apply, smells fresher though does have a bit of a honeysuckle smell to it. WBA and glad I have some more in stash. I say I'm surprised as it's difficult to see how much is in the bottle.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Good news - only 1 (planned) IN so far in January, and haven't been near shops since Wednsday. Have a few splutterers so hope to make them UU's soon.

Less than good news - My huge 250 ml tube of Gatineau Cream Cleanser seems to be making my skin dry, I have 2/3 of it left, usually alternating it with Elemis Pro Collagen or Emma Hardie, as it has a long shelf life I think I had better put it away until the warmer weather and then try again.

Temptation is staring me in the face in the form of the Revitalash TSV, it is selling well so perhaps if I resist for a little longer it will be sold out!

    Rosemary - get well soon.

A!di's creams are really good, Sue, in my experience. Every one that I've used I've liked. I just wish they would bring the hydro-urea foot cream back on special. That was great.

I've always found them really good too, they used to do an anti aging hand cream, which smelled gorgeous and made my hands feel really soft, no matter how dry they were before, however they don't seem to do it anymore. They do another one, which may be the same one in different packaging, so I may try that when I've finished the ones I have.

Finished a body spray this morning, only another four to go!

Afternoon everyone. Not had a chance to post this week so have spent a wee bit of today catching up on everyone’s posts. Hope everyone’s well and if you’ve been affected by the snow that you and yours are safe and warm.

Made some progress this week so my outs are now into double figures! :j

    Another 2 UUs -
John Frieda Frizz Ease hairspray 250ml. WBA but not at the moment since I have another 4 cans in the cupboard to use up first! One of my HGs as it’s the only hairspray which keeps my hair from fizzy in the damp.
Oral B Pro Expert All Around Clean Mint toothpaste. Another HG but have another 4 tubes still in the cupboard to use up!

TAs – most of these have been drained into a big pump dispenser bottle to be used for cleaning. Needless to say WNBA! So...
NYR refreshing shampoo200ml. This was a men’s one but neither me or DH liked it.
M&S eau de cologne shower gel 50ml. Came in a gift set from MIL when we stayed in our last house and we moved over 6 years ago!
Some unknown shower gel(200ml) – Superdrug I think - which I decanted into a different bottle sometime last year.
Country Living cardamon & grapefruit shower gel 300ml, Something else we brought with us from the last house that’s been taking up space. Smells lovely though!
John Frieda sheer blonde moisturising shampoo honey to caramel 225ml. WNBA. Normally I love JF haircare but this made my hair go greasy really quickly.
Lush soap – can’t remember which one but it’s been cut up into cubes and am using it for laundry (thanks again to kameleon for the tip!).

Have decided not to count all the stuff in the cupboards as it would take far too long! However it did make me realise that if I've counted over 100 items before I even look in the cupboards or open the mini drawers where I keep my samples sized stuff that I have a serious toiletries addiction!! Trying to keep on track but it’s hard especially when LIB send emails about making up your own beauty box!!! :o

There are a few that are recomended for use all over eye area and where those smiley lines appear, but more often than not they suggest around the orbital bone only, if it does not state on packaging I would try and look it up on line, if they are very rich and you use the all over sometimes those horrid Millia occur:eek:

I've just googled 'orbital bone' and am still not sure what area I should be using cream on! Help! :o

Tempted by a couple of the current LIB offers but consoling myself with the thought that there'll be more when the time comes that I actually need anything and I've whittled the stash down. So far, that's working! That and defrosting the freezer :rotfl:

Same here re Baylis & Harding . I had a few B&H lavender (iirc) toiletries bought for me as a present, a few years ago, the friend who bought them was strapped for cash, but so pleased at finding something she thought I would like.
I felt awful that the present was so rubbish as she had taken such care in choosing it, and haven't bought B&H myself, though it seems to be everywhere.

I turned down a huge B&H toiletries freebie - looked gorgeous but I bet it was carp- when I bought some silver on holiday in Cornwall, I can remember my heart sinking when I saw the label!

I've had Baylis & Harding handwash a few times and it's been fine. Not tried anything else I don't think but was given Plum Pudding hand and body lotion for Xmas. Will be a while before I try it as I have so much in the stash and am trying to use the opened and/or oldest stuff first.
