I tried. Made the mistake of estimating prices. Stopped.

Sorry that after joining I disappeared! being back at work means I have 0 time.

You've just 'made' me look and I've seen these:-

    http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/special_buys3_28682.htm

I'm wondering whether it's worth me trying one for my present skin problems but how many products do I have to try before I find one that actually works? More to the point, does such a product actually exist?

Having said that, for £3.99 it might just be worth a go. Can presumably use it as skin lotion or bath oil if it doesn't suit me.

If it doesn't suit your skin how about using it as cuticle oil?

Clinique Almost Make up Parfait which has been discontinued. I am really gutted that this is almost gone. Loved this *sniff. It does mean that I will need a suitable replacement product.

Why do Clinique have to discontinue things? I am still mourning the fact they discontinued their (in my opinion) best fragrance - 'Simply' - several years ago. I haven't found anything that comes close and I have been searching for a while now.

Have resisted the Dec tsv so have added £5 to my SPC to celebrate.

I seem to be on a roll with the UUs too. At this rate I will have a lovely minus figure from the stash at the end of the month:

Gatineau defilift 3D volumising lip care - love this but am UU other things in the stash before opening my final stashed tube of this which is lovely and softening on the lips.

    Three more UU

Perricone MD cosmeceuticals Advanced Face Firming Activator 3ml
Perricone MD cosmeceuticals Restorative Night Treatment 3ml
Perricone MD cosmeceuticals Face Finishing Moisturiser 3ml

Would you recommend the Advanced Face Firming Activator? I have an unopened bottle of this and was wondering if it was any good.

Unfortunately not a big enough sample to tell.

Our local SW group meet in the church hall opposite my house on Monday evening, all of our road was completely full of cars on Monday with people joining, does beg the question though - could a lot of those people walk there?

Good point! I have started meetings on a Saturday morning and they are about 2 miles away. I did drive yesterday but hope to walk there most of the time in the future, weather permitting. It's not the best of walks though - most of it is a dual carriageway which isn't made for walking so the alternative is to go through a subway by the canal. I did walk to my friend's yesterday but ended up leaving my suede gloves there and she has a mad, baldy p***y who will probably end up destroying them.

Are you supposed to oil your cuticles? I used to be a nail biter and although I resist most of the time now they do break fairly easily so I tend to leave them to their own devices. I use nail varnish once in a blue moon and usually manage to make a mess even of that!

I ended up buying both of the oils so that's 2 ins. :o Lacura Face Treatment Oil for sensitive skin and one for dry skin, both 30ml. Persevering with the Fucidin H for now and will discuss it with the doctor also.

well done on the weight loss. I started with WW online in mid October last year and had lost 16.6lbs by Xmas. I put a couple of pounds on and haven't got back into the swing of it properly since. I started going to meetings yesterday though (along with most of the local female population and one brave male, going by the queue!)

How many Xmas cards do you usually send/give? It would take me years to use 100! I couldn't find a nice 'special' one for my son this year so didn't bother as I thought he wouldn't be bothered either way. He looked so upset when I told him on Xmas eve that I ended up driving round lots of local shops untll I found one with 'son' on! That was the only card I gave though. :o I did make a donation to charity and sent an email to my colleagues to tell them I'd done it though - cost a lot more than cards would as I already had loads in, but it was for a good cause. :D

I did lost 1.5 stone last year before our cruise but it's started creeping back on espeically after Christmas so am back to it. The HD recipes are similar to what we were eating before so it's new inspiration for us. Well done with your weight loss too and for keeping it going - that's the hardest part. I used to enjoy going to meetings but don't anymore as MrM and I support each other.

In fairness the Christmas cards will probably last a couple of years. They are really nice charity ones.

    Hello ladies!

A big welcome to our newbies!

    2 outs:
Superdrug nail polish remover- WBA because it did the job
a sachet of L'Occitane mango flower handcream- Lovely, and I have a small tube of this in the stash!

This L'occitane hand cream is my favourite so far out of the free ones. I think I only have one left (as I gifted the rest) and think it's the date one.

Kiplingmonkey - I haven't taken much notice of the Decleor TSV as I wouldn't normally buy this. I got an email about it. Have tried that particular cleanser before and as it foams it dried my skin. Seemed very expensive as well. I still love the herbal clay mask though.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
