Hi all, I would like to join in on this challenge please. I don't have an enormous amount of stuff, but certainly more than enough, lol!
Yesterday I finished a tube of hand cream, after cutting open to use up every last bit, and tonight I had a bath (I very rarely have baths, preferring showers), so I managed to use up the last bit of a bottle of bath milk (that my DS bought me about 3 years ago), and I also used some of my body oil spray.Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

Welcome Sue14.. and apologies for any enabling I did with the Ald! oils post.
I have half a wee bottle of Argan oil to UU myself at some stage, I was using it instead of face cream during the summer but with no SPF, I was a bit concerned. I already have an Argan oil leave in conditioner - may try adding a few drops to ordinary conditioner to see what it does. Bit like many years ago when I was a childminder and used then quite expensive tea tree oil to add to shampoo & conditioner*, as cheap tea tree shampoo hadn't made it on to the market then.

Evening all
I have been reading this thread since the beginning of the month and have decided to take the plunge and join all you nice people.
Compared to many of you, I do not have very much of a stash. (Although I still have a few too many items). Also, due to this thread I have got back into the daily morning and night routine of cleansing, toning and moisturising. I have even been wearing a little make up and perfume every day. (always use deodrant but forget the perfume)
Take care

A few more use ups to report this week:
Vinies Luminous skin mask - received in a beauty box. WNBA as it leaves skin feeling soft, but looks and smells awful and also stings face a little bit
Aveda carribean therapy body scrub - this is a nice scrub that I received in a latest in beauty box. WNBA as its probably quite pricey
Aromatherapy Associates Revive Morning Bath & Shower Oil - sample received in beauty box. Very nice smell, but would not buy again because too expensive
n-spa pamper me body cream - received as xmas gift in 2011. wnba as nothing special
Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion - received to test - WNBA as quite thin in consistency and dont like the smell.
Finally Virgin Vie Perfectly Polished Nail Colour in Marshmallow - now this isn't 100% empty but I got as much product out as possible and the last bit is a little gloopy so I am gonna call it a UU. WNBA as not that keen on the colour which makes me wonder how I managed to use it up when its not my favourite colour and I have about 100 other polishes to choose from. Could be that I have had it years and used it a couple of times every year. Oh well, glad its out of the stash.
I have quite a few splutterers to use up this week, so will report back on them.
HAve a good week everyone. Dont let the snow get you downPlans for 2017:Use up 150 make up and toiletries products 0/150)Lose weight - target 28lbs :eek:Competition wins 2017 - Dermo28 Youthmas Skincare Set :j0 -
Our local SW group meet in the church hall opposite my house on Monday evening, all of our road was completely full of cars on Monday with people joining, does beg the question though - could a lot of those people walk there?
:rotfl:
I used to go to WW and lived the furthest from the hall (1 mile) and was the only one who walked there. There were women there who pretty much lived around the corner and drove there!0 -
I cannot remember how many UUs I had last year so I am going to start counting from 1 again.
1) Etat Pur Vitamin PP serum. WNBA. This was recommended to me as it's supposed to be good for dehydrated skin & eczema. I didn't find it did anything though. I have another oat-based one from the same company that is supposed to help redness so will try that next.
2) M&S Sweet Orange shower gel. I threw this away halfway through using the bottle. It was just very meh and I don't like the texture.
I have decided I am going to be more ruthless about throwing/giving stuff away. I feel obliged to use stuff up because I don't want to be wasteful, but find myself using stuff I don't really like whilst the stuff I love is rotting away in the cupboard. I have just spent two months using a shampoo that didn't do anything for my hair and wasn't nice to use. The stupid thing was it only cost £4 so I am not sure why I felt compelled to finish it.0 -
