Morning all - just caught up on the thread after a busy and hectic week back in the school routine. Lots of lovely OUTs for everyone and some INs which sound great too. Also, welcome lovely newbies.
Sorry to enter the BadGal debate late but I have been using it for the first time and love it - still, that is what is so great about this thread - we all have different likes and dislikes and it is interesting to hear the debate.
I have 5 INS from my Amarya box - same as everyone else so won't list here. Planning to have no more INs for the rest of January so that should be it now unless I am seriously tempted by the LE on the Q at the end of the month.
But some OUTs too which is great news:
L'Occitane cherry blossom shimmering lotion - the smell of this is divine and WBA - it did seem a bit thin but it moisturised well. Previously I had been using a S&G body butter so that is probably why it seemed runny. Still have some of the shower gel left and also have another bottle of this in my stash as well as a shower gel plus umptyfroo other shower lotions and potions so just hope it is still being made when I need to repurchase.
Garnier simply essentials eye make up remover - absolutely loved this, so huge thanks to my swap buddy (hope you are reading). Using this has convinced me that when my more expensive eye make up removers have all been UU I can be more :money:.
Clarisonic gentle hydro cleanser - did the job but find my Clarisonic works perfectly well with other cleansers so WNBA.
Weleda lavender creamy body wash - loved the smell but no 'WOW' factor for me so WNBA.
Happy weekend everyone0 -

I expect there are lots of variables which contribute how we react to a product, skin chemistry, watery eyes (mascara), what products we use beforehand, whether we leave enough time between cleansing/moisturising etc as well as personal preference as to consistency/feel of the item, but the debate is good, it helps hearing other opinions, and hereabouts no-one suggests that you are in the wrong if you disagree, unlike other discussion groups :rotfl::rotfl:

Quite agree MM - can't believe some of the vitriol that appears on other posts. Hope your brother is still recovering well. xx0 -
Another UU - Boots shaving foam. I don't have any more shaving lubricant in stock but I'm just going to make up my own shaving oil using some base oil with some essential oils instead.0

UU Clean and Clear Cleansing Lotion - This is a HG and I have a couple more in the stash0

Thanks KM, so far so good. Waiting for a space in whichever ward has been selected for him, don't yet know what if any long term problems he might encounter, but for the moment just so relieved to have him still here. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. 2 freebie in samples of Diorskin Nude BB in shades 1 & 2
I have been shopping even though I'm not supposed to buy buying anything this month, but I didn't buy any toiletries, so some improvement. Really want to try other Lush products but need to wait until stash is UU.
Just wanted to add that I'm not sure if No.7 eye makeup doesn't seem to fully remove No.7 mascara.0 -
I am reformed!!! :T:rotfl::T Well maybe.
Went shopping with OH. Had a look around Boots as had to pick up new hairbands and a box of tampons (now why would I stockpile these useful items when I can stockpile body scrubs?!) Bought these with two bottles of drink and nothing else. Checked out the avene products, ojon hair treatment and a few other things but didn't pick anything else up. Paid for the four items with AC points and still have more than £48 worth of points on the card :rotfl:
So still no ins 12 days in to the year, 12 days down, 88 to go. Of course we had just spent a fortune on stuff for the house, so erm, yeah0 -
Hello, can I join too please [steps forward shyly]. :hello: I’m always nervous about joining threads given some of the nastiness that appears on other threads. It’s taken me a week to read this one and it’s so lovely and warm because everyone is so friendly!
I have lots of full sized bottles of shower gels, shampoos, perfumes, etc and goodness knows how many samples! Not going to count them since I've got to the stage that there’s no more space in our bathroom :embarasse so I really need to use up what I have rather than keeping buying new! Lots of splutters so hopefully will have some good news to report shortly.
Actually this is the year of action! OH and I have far too much stuff and since it’s unlikely they’ll ever designa house with elasticated sides we need to buckle down, have a clear out, stopspending so much money and start using up what we have! Also need to lose the 1½ stones I’vegradually put on since we got married 12 years ago and get myself a bit fitter in the process. Can't wait to get back into some of my clothes that have been relegated to the back of the wardrobe!!No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.0 -
Hello All.
Still no ins for me this month other than the planned ones last weekend, this must be a new record for me.
Instead of going to the shops (fully into my new no spending/debt busting regime) today we dragged the kids on a 6 mile hike, it was a very tough, hilly, boggy and rocky walk (It is a long time since I have done it), it was cold but being closely related to polar bears I loved that. Anyway they managed it fueled with a picnic and smarties and they enjoy map reading too. NSD here so very pleased.
Have a good evening everyone.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
