 hahaha! Wow, i thought i had tonnes! Good luck with that, judging by that amount you'll have enough to last til christmas, and then you'll be inundated with more :rotfl:. I reckon i'll be saving a fortune by holding off buying things, i plan on doing the same with my groceries, i have a larder full0 -

You are quite right! I have enough shower gel to last all year, enough makeup and perfume to last several. I think I will need to buy a few things, but certainly not this month, and hopefully not in february either!
I haven't purchased any toiletries so far this year, and am hoping I can hold off for 100 days. I put £2 in a pot for every UU and occasionally put the value of a product I want to buy in the pot, to see if I still want it in a week.
I've also started a challenge to use up cleaning products as I found we had more than fifty bottles of different things, lots being duplicates and part used. Again, we should have enough cleaning products not to buy anything at all for a month, and some things will last all year!!0 -

I haven't even counted my make-up, i know i have loads i just cling onto longer than the 12 month use on them! I shall attack that tomorrow. I agree with the shower gel, i use Soap and glory. It's 500ml and even with 3 pumps it still lasts me december-december  no idea when i'll get to the nivea bodywash i have...
I'm the same with my cleaning products, i have a cupboard under my stairs full of fabric conditioner and persil, all bought on offer with vouchers too. I don't think i'll be visiting a supermarket any time soon for anything other than fresh veg and milk :rotfl:Good luck with your challenges!0 -

Right I'm giving myself a small target to reach, to give myself a little treat I had a sample of Lush Ultra bland and loved it as it removes so much makeup and doesn't dry out my skin I've also had a sample and a full size of Lush Angels on bare skin (think I'm about half way through this already, my skin loves this no more dry patches or flaky bits etc. So my target once I've UU Angels, I need to finish the cleanser that's already open, plus 2 others and I can buy a small pot of Angels or Ultra Bland.
Unfortunately I now want to try loads of other Lush products, but will have to wait till stash is gone.0 -
Same here, first bought one about 3 years ago, was pretty miffed as I was not very well off at that time. I was so tempted by the Plum one, but decided not to risk it.
The plum one is lovely although I know what you all mean about the brush.xxsally1990xx wrote: »new INS today, my dermalogica moisturiser arrived yayalso got 4xsamples for some cleansing gel so will let you all know what thats like, maybe a couple of weeks tho as still battling through a 30ml sample of liz earle cleanser i got (seems to be lasting a while). Am glad you've taken the plunge and invested in the dermalogica moisturiser.
I have an IN today - Clairol Root touch up kit. Was reduced to £3.00 in Wilkinsons. This will also be an OUT over the weekend as well. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Very pleased with myself for venturing to the gym on a Friday night, its been a horrid week in work and today was no different - why do people think its acceptable to adopt a tone in an email they wouldn't take to your face and more importantly why do that at all when you work in the same small building?! Over something pretty flipping insignificant :mad: Its the petty stuff that really winds me up.... Anyway shall try not to dwell, their issue and not mine and all that, off out tonight, my friend's leaving do, I don't work with her but she is my friend... and there's wine involved.... therefore I am most definitely there!
Have a lovely weekend everyone, wish everyone was as nice as you lot! x
Hugs, my work is just like this. It's been a long week and thank goodness its almost the weekend. Really think I need to look for a new job. Unfortunately at my work they speak to you like that for real, as they are trying to make us all feel that's its so awful that we'll leave and then they can get someone cheaper in to do the job.Although there are some that can do no wrong, and they can get away with murder, arrive late, leave early and do no work
Need to keep reminding myself that we work to live, not live to work
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -

[QUOTE=mcculloch29;58444279. Plus my anti-persp. said it works for 48 hours, but never got a chance to prove it.
Am I alone in this chain of thought?![/QUOTE]
good point about the anti-perspirant. :rotfl:
I shower most days but skip the odd day. I don't like having a shower and not washing my hair at the same time because I just don't feel clean when I do. I don't blow dry my hair so not washing it isn't a big deal but it's quite long and tangles a lot so it does take a while to wash. I do occasionally have a shower and use a shower cap but really don't like it. Most of the time when I have showered and washed my hair in the morning I go to work with my hair still wet as I haven't used a dryer on it in years. I just put one of those bulldog clip type things in it and you can't tell it's still wet. Sometimes it's still damp at the end of the day though!3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

You took the words right out of my mouth - do you work in my office by any chance? :rotfl:
BTW, I'm not the one who arrives late, leaves early and does no work - but I work with a few people who do!3 stone down, 3 more to go0
