Very pleased with myself for venturing to the gym on a Friday night, its been a horrid week in work and today was no different - why do people think its acceptable to adopt a tone in an email they wouldn't take to your face and more importantly why do that at all when you work in the same small building?! Over something pretty flipping insignificant :mad: Its the petty stuff that really winds me up. x
I get emails from people who sit a couple of desks away! The best one I've had recently was one that my manager meant to send to his manager but sent to me instead by mistake - the email was about me! :eek:3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

Trying to console myself LOL. I enjoy buying more than using, and have set my sights on the emma hardie cleansing balm, it's tormenting me!0 -

my skin is tormenting me at the moment. I have a mega breakout of acne/eczema/rosacea and nothing helps at all. I have some Fucidin H cream which I think is way out of date but may give that a go. I've got a routine GP appointment in 2 weeks so if it's not better then will see what he can suggest. I was under a dermatologist for years but despite trying lots of different pills and potions and having some laser treatment nothing really worked.
The frustrating thing is that I get these awful breakouts which can last weeks or months but then it will settle down again for no apparent reason. Sometimes I get major breakouts when I'm really looking after my skin and often my skin will be OK (or as OK as my skin ever is) when I'm neglecting it shamefully - it's so frustrating. :mad:3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

I found my small but aggravating facial eczema patch flared up on my second day back in work - no link there then!! I think it's the cold weather mixed with our very dry heating system in the office. I'm also trying to manage my stress, reduce my caffeine and generally look after myself to avoid burning out, but the eczema's still there!
It's why I want to try the Emma hardie balm, it looks so good for sensitive dry skin. I'm also running out of my avene rich recovery cream eeek!
I find even the small patches of eczema I get very stressful and upsetting, I have no idea how you get on with your skin conditions. Is it just your face or is everywhere affected?0 -

Another UU this morning - Weleda Pomegranate Regenerating Hand Cream. I got this free with a magasine subscription some time ago and I WNBA.
The hand cream is ok though I don't like as much as the L'Occitane ones, but I don't like the packaging. It's a metal tube, and whilst I am used to cutting tubes open to get the last bit out, I had to do it rather sooner with this than others.
Then, unlike a plastic tube I couldn't do my trick of pushing the top half of the tube over the bottom to keep the dregs fresh if there was more than one use in there. Ended up covering my arms and legs with the last of the cream.
Having used up a couple of REN serums I started using some of the Rose facial products I brought back from Bulgaria last night (a night cream, eye cream and serum), they felt divine on my skin and smelt lovely, and my skin feels really nice this morning, dewy soft but not at all greasy.
When I bought these last year there didn't seem to be any way to buy in the UK, but I've found a couple of websites which offers them now so I won't have to go back to Bulgaria to restock if I like them as much once I've finished them. Though I would quite like to go back anyway, only scratch the surface of the country in my last visit.0 -

I have ben having breakouts of the eczema on my face, right hand and odd bits of my bod, sure it is from all the stress of the last few weeks. I put the avene cream in my shopping basket in B**ts last week then put it back as I had already got the Hydraluron and didn't want to spend any more:( Don't wish to enable anyone, but the Emma Hardie is so gentle and moisturising, I only use it once a day as I have a shed load of other cleansers to use, but even doing it once the red patches are healing nicely. Also discovered that Gatineau Aquamemory moisturiser aggravates it, but the serum is fine:eek:The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
I also suffer from eczema and cracked skin on my hands and found aqueous cream to work wonders. I've found the soap and glory hand cream to be very moisturising although it can flare up if my hands are really bad. I've also used a no 7 hand scrub which is great for getting some dry skin off
Hope you all get your eczema problems sorted!
