Oh dear, my hoarding problem knows no bounds!

I've started a new challenge, having discovered I have hoarded 25 litres of cleaning products... I'm sure you lovely ladies are far too clean and scented to join me in this one but should anyone else have a hoarding problem, feel free to join me!

I've joined! :D Anyone else joining me...?

MingleI am shocked!! What did you not like about the Badgal? I love this product!

    .

It gave me full on panda eyes :(. First mascara ever to do so.
  • Another UU for me today-2 in 2 days. I'm on a roll here :rotfl:

1 x big cheapo hairspray. WNBA, it's better buying the other brand, because I'm worth it :D

I have the same problem with Bad Gal Lash, love the big brush but don't get on with the actual mascara!

Are you using enough cleanser and water with the Clarisonic? I have to be careful using the Clarisonic on my cheeks as they are quite dry. I have noticed that the redness tends to occur if I don't use enough water and cleanser. I think it does irritate my face if there is not enough lubrication.

Thanks for the suggestion, will try using a bit more. Have possibly been a bit sparing as I was finding cleanser was running into my eyes from my forehead while using, which stung like crazy.

I have another UU this morning Boots Essentials Cucumber cleansing wipes. WNBA. I used to buy wipes for holidays for the convenience factor of not needing to take cotton pads to use with liquid cleanser.

Recently I worked out that Lush shampoo tins were the perfect shape and size for a weeks worth of cotton pads, so am taking those and one of the many sample sized bottles of cleaner when I travel instead.

One IN to report. I bought some aromatherapy oils & blends to try to help with the alopecia I've developed and the poor sleep (though that seems to have improved a little this week) and got a free bath product a Quinessence Luxury Bath Soak for Muscles and Joints.

I'm going to increase the amount of exercise I do this year, so this should come in handy. I need to be a bit more careful with my money with all the work I need to do on my house now my fiance and I have split and he won't be doing it, so I can't afford to go for the number of massages I did last year. Hopefully this will help to reduce the knots.

Been starting to wear make up more this year but not in danger of using anything much up aside of maybe foundation. Should probably go through my mascaras and have a bit of a clear out though - some are a little elderly.

How long do you keep your mascaras for? Advice seems to be to ditch after a few months but I tend to keep mine longer and have never had any problems.

And does anyone have a recommendation of a good brown waterproof mascara? I tend to use Max Factor or Boots No 7 as a lot of premium brands didn't offer a waterproof brown last time I checked. Think Lancome discontinued theirs, which was my favourite for years.

after enjoying my lovely long shellaced nails over Christmas I am now back to mega short ones after a/ breaking one in a spectacular way as I openned the car door(it shot into the air and landed on my face!)that one was not too bad bUT last night I felt a snag on another and it was below the end on where the nail joins the finger:eek::eek::eek::eek:so cut them all short and put jessica lifejacket onto try and stop it snagging any more, they do not look at all pretty and i don't like the rough feel of lifejacket even under a top coat:(

    Hello loves

maddiemay - that is just wonderful, wonderful news :) You must all be both happy and relieved. All the best x

getting-there-slowly... Honestly, I would go for it and use what you love first. I used to save my best for well... best, but for a while I have done the opposite and been better for it. After finishing things I like, I have been more focused to finish other less wanted products. Then when it comes around to buying - I now only buy what I truly love, and pass up many good deals for less desirable products as I know I just won't be thrilled about using it.

    Speaking of using things up:
    1. Schwarzkpof Gliss Shampoo 250ml - this was actually a very good shampoo for my hair - my hair is fine, and this wasn't heavy at all. It's regularly available for 99p - so quite the bargain too. WBA.
    2. Essential Nuance Airy Shampoo 200ml - my previously HG shampoo that I used to source from abroad, which my hair has now become used to :( I am now onto my next larger bottle of this, and have one in the stash too. Probably would not purchase any further stocks of this.
    3. Liz Earle Instant Skin Boost Tonic 30ml spritzer - I have now finished all my stocks of this toner, and I'm sure my skin will sorely miss it :( I have a few other things to use up, but may repurchase in the future.

Have a beautiful day people :) xxx

The TSVs are only shown on the main channel. I find the Beauty Channel is good for watching demos you may have missed on the main channel. Yes, the midnight shows depict what brand will be featuring in that day's TSV. There's a website called shoppingtelly.com that has a QVC forum on it and they always feature what's in the TSV kits ahead of time. It's a good way to establish whether a kit is value to you or not.

Thank you, off to go have a look now! x

Same here, first bought one about 3 years ago, was pretty miffed as I was not very well off at that time. I was so tempted by the Plum one, but decided not to risk it.

1 UU to report, a pack of Primark face wipes.

Bought them to use while travelling, but I missed cleansing my face properly, so ended up using them to clean my feet in bed, before applying foot cream (something I really need to use more and UU)

WNBA, value baby wipes are probably cheaper than face wipes (when used for foot cleansing), plus have another pack of the Primark wipes (came in a twin pack) to UU anyway.
