I have one UU today.
A small Sanctuary Spa body wash. I Love Sanctuary Spa so would absolutely buy again (if I ever need to buy anything ever again)

I've had some very unexpected free INs from work. Someones wife works for a cosmetics compnay and apparently often has stuff to get rid of so one Pupa make up pallet and 3 soaps Nesti Dante I might add.
I've had a mamouth lot of UUs too:
BS Earth Lovers lemon and thyme shower gel- hated this WBNA
Tesco Extracts mango and nectarine body butter- nice stuff this, moisturiser and not greasey
Garnier minerals roll on- Gotta love the £1 shop!
Santuary Body scrub mini- I like Santuary stuff but would never pay full price
Timotei golden highlights conditioner- my HG though I haven't tried the new version yetDebt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Some UU to report:
21 - Bomb cosmetics bath bomb - WNBA it was OK without any floating herbs but I prefer lush.
22 - Lush bath bomb WBA
23 - DHC cleansing oil WBA was really unsure about cleansing oils but removes all make up and doesnt leave any greasy residue - have more in the stash
But some ins:
A revlon nail varnish - this arrived in the post today I have no idea where it came from ? competition win. Its OK but not a colour I would have chosen myself.
A package of 11 sachets arrived in the post again no idea where from.No more buying toiletries0 -

Two more UU in the bath earlier - M & S Jazzy Plum Bath Caviar - WNBA - turned the water a fetching shade of pink, smelt a little but no actual benefit I don't think. Like bubbles so added a little of Hello Kitty Liberty bubbles I got in a set in the sales and that smelt absolutely gorgeous, much more sophisticated than I thought it would. I've another of these sets I bought for a present, they may not get it at this rate...:D
The other UU was L'Oreal Preference conditioner - the small tube that comes with the hair colour, noticed HB have started selling this but unfortunately not in my shade - WBA as dye of choice at the moment, gives a nice even rich colour and its not too messy to use, well not usually, dyed my hair a couple of nights ago and managed to shake the bottle with no lid on?! Cue dye all over the bathroom
Bath did the trick to help me unwind, feel much more relaxed now than I did at 6pm0 -

This is my thought - last year I won a bag full of clinique (sp) products which are in my stash along with BS stuff and boots stuff. Im currently working my way through the lower price end of the stash but this isnt going to last the time of repaying OD/CC. Dont want to use the clinique stuff yet as I cant justify the cost of replacing (if I like it). I may have to keep adding to stash just with more cost effective products until I feel comfortable using the others or keep them for a monthly treat.
Does anyone else think along these lines or am I just having a moment:rotfl:?
As others have recommended I'd say use those products that you really want to try first. It would be a shame for them to go off before use.Oh reminds me quick Q question, does the beauty channel have TSV or is it just the main channel and is there a way of find out when certain ones might be coming up?
And fantastic news about your brother maddiemay xThanks for that, I've not bought from Q before and the high postage for things always puts me off. Maybe i'd better hoping the main Q has a TSV offer on something I want, is it that whatever shows at 12-1am is going to be the TSV? As if so at least I can look through the guide to see if something catches me eye - not that I really need stuff ofc but it's my birthday soon and it can be a present from OH if its something I've been wanting for ages! x
The TSVs are only shown on the main channel. I find the Beauty Channel is good for watching demos you may have missed on the main channel. Yes, the midnight shows depict what brand will be featuring in that day's TSV. There's a website called shoppingtelly.com that has a QVC forum on it and they always feature what's in the TSV kits ahead of time. It's a good way to establish whether a kit is value to you or not.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

One more UU: Boots conditioning nail polish remover pads.
Had a PYN Thursday but unfortunately messed it up and had to remover it all. I would definitely buy these again, they are excellent at removing nail polish, better than any bottle of solution I've used before.0 -
One UU to report:
W7 Pink Gem Nail polish. I bought this 5 years ago and have just finished it now! I even thinned it down with nail polish to satisfy myself that I hadn't wasted it. WIBA? No, quality wasn't great but I would buy another brand of the same colour.
One TA: Body sugar wax. Unfortunately, this was unintended, went to wax my legs but the ants got to it first yuk! Need to replace this.0 -
A UU - L'Oreal Elvive Conditioner for weak, limp hair. 400ml this was, and it's lasted MANY MONTHS.
I cut it open with the kitchen shears to transfer the last few uses to a 250 ml bottle of Elvive (The old variant, this one was bought in a poundshop).
The 400ml bottle is a 'top at the bottom' one and the inside of the bottle was coated a deep yellow rather than pristine white when I cut it open, apart from near to the opening.
Bit worrying, but the product itself was still fine.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
