    I've been Money Tipped!
i just broke this pact with 2 £10 sanctuary gift sets from boots on-line! i blame this site m'ludd!! they were £40 before xmas!
  • Just had my first UU of 2013! :j Finished my bottle of CK One body wash - it was given to me by a friend. It's actually a man's wash so WNB, but smelt ok enough for me to use.

Also have a GA - gave my OH my freebie sample bottle of Nivea for men sensitive face hydro gel as he was complaining his skin was dry and was eyeing up my L'Occitane stuff. :D

This year I'm keeping my stash list in Excel rather than Word, and so far it seems to work a bit better. Stuff is easier to find.

Thanks to getting only a few toiletry INs over xmas, I've noticed that I'm very close to graduating from Soap & Glory! :j I'm currently using a shampoo, a body spray and a weekly use of Scrub your nose in it, and have a conditioner in the cupboard. I never want to see another pink S&G bottle in my house again! :D

My first two items used up!

1 - Some body butter (Skin Goddess patchouli and vanilla). I got this from Sainsburys or ASDA and it's just like Soap and Glorys the Rightous butter. I would buy it again...just not yet. *glances at pile of body creams*
2 - Some baby shampoo from ALDI, Mamia. Just like other baby shampoos. Would buy again. Good for sensitive types.
    Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

candyandstripes, I try to buy everything I 'need' when there's a discount/loyalty points offer/free gift which sometimes saves money but I have ended up spending more to get to the minimum spend. I did sock up on TBS almond body butter when I found out and I've still got some left! Last year was bad for me as my foundation and primer were discontinued but didn't find out until I'd run out so couldn't bulk buy which I suppose is a good thing.

I try not to buy anything unless i'm using a discount code, there's an offer or at least cash back now too.. just need to curb my 'wants' !

    TA-
Soap & Glory Hand Cream - WNBA gone off in record time!
Max Factor Lipstick in Angel - WNBA awfully drying

    UU-
YSL Concealer - You all know the one, WNBA as I've replaced it with a Loreal Highlighting Concealer which is AMAZING and less than a third of the price

IN - Ted Baker Star Gift from Boots - So far used the bubble bath but it took about a quarter of the bottle to create bubbles :/

I love this TS mousse too and, I'll whisper this ..... I noticed it in a set in the sales in Boots with Volume Dry Shampoo and Volume Booster spray, all full size plus some sectioning clips and velcro rollers, £18 full price, just thinking if it were to go 75% off.... Would be rude not to! :D

Haven't seen the TS set in the Boots sale near me but at 75% off it would be a real bargain - *whispers back* good luck with finding one in the 75% off sale as that would be less than the cost of a mousse.

Not wishing to be a naughty enabler but I went into town today and popped into Boots - they had the Sanctuary OOTW and the Gok OOTW with 75% off. I got a couple of the Sanctuary sets for £10 for birthday gifts as they are an excellent buy (down from £40) - top tip tho', if you do track some down check the contents as 2 of the ones I inspected had bits missing. The Gok set was lovely but I couldn't think of anyone I could get it for and I really don't need anything so I left it on the shelf - I view this as progress.

    Also have another OUT:

Smashbox mascara - had to resort to only using this on my top lashes as it tended to smudge so WNBA. Have now started using my Benefit BadGal plum mascara which I am loving. I may see if I can get a couple more of these in the sale as I love plum mascara and it is really hard to find normally.

forgot to say my nieces and friends loved the beauty boxes I made up for them using SSB boxes stuffed full of lots of different items thus making space in my cupboard:):)
also put a few items in for OH and DS3 which gave them a laugh on Christmas day!
home alone with a baked potato whilst OH is in my fav spa hotel having 3 course gourmet meal....something not quite right here!!!(he is there on business, decided to stay there as so nice and on the way home from where he is today)

...and what is SSB? I'll get used to all these little quirks I'm sure!

I used SSB boxes to wrap up some toiletries bought for OH and DS for Christmas.

Also used some things from BB in Christmas Crackers for DF and OH and gave DMIL and OH a table present for Christmas morning breakfast, all courtesy of BB. I don't have any male toiletries left now, so wouldn't be able to do it again but it was fun watching OH look in wonder at a small tube of male face mud and wonder what he was supposed to do with it.

Nice to see you over here RM54, hope things continue to improve at home. Does seem a pity about OH and the spa, perhaps you could treat yourself with some of the lovely toiletries you have and pretend you are at the spa instead.

Edit - to get into the swing of things, today I have UU
Aquafresh toothpaste - 20ml tube - finally gone after squeezing every last squidge out.
Pai - Gentle Hydrating Cleanser - 50ml - WBA but it's expensive, £20 purchased with Pai face oil on offer so was free. It's lovely but I have too many similar products to use up first.

Oh dear, and BB? *blushes down to her tippy toes and just gets on with it*

Avon is a big temptation for me too. I'll usually order something each catalogue. That could be a future wobble.

    Part of the Furniture
    Welcome all newbies!

UU Ted Baker shower gel - This was part of a Christmas gift from 2011 and I really liked the smell. Would happily be gifted this again. Have replaced with a dreaded Burts Bees (will these never end ... :wall: )
