Ironing mountain is still a mountain even though I've sorted into what can be got rid of and what doesn't need ironing! I'm thinking I may do a HHI even if all that means is I condense it down into 2 baskets rather than 2 overflowing baskets with a mountain on top of each!

Morning all! Awake far too early for a Sat so gave in and got up to make a cuppa. Tea anyone?
Dw unloaded and reloaded with all baked on stuff that I left to soak overnight. Snuggled in bed with 1 cat (at minute, am sure the others will follow) and tea. To day will be a damage limitation day I fear. Oh we'll.....
Off to meet friend at 9 to walk our dogs then home via the dump as car is full. Have a good day fellow flyers.

Ps can I ask what "spoons" and "frogs" mean?

Woke up with a stinking headache :( but am hoping a cup of tea will put it right - otherwise I'll be reaching for the parrots. Did my ironing last night; only had 9 things to do cos I've been keeping on top of it so didn't take long at all. All normal household type things to do this morning and then at 1.00 I've got a riding lesson - I saw the horse yesterday; he's big, strong and very keen - wish me luck !!!

Have a good day everyone :)

    Clean shower room

OH (not D at the moment!) to sort out return of new house phones
    Tidy DR
Make a decision on dinner for tonight

    Best make a start

Just finished ironing - still quite a bit more to do but a load done at least. My legs and back are aching after spending most of yesterday on my knees sorting DD's BR out and then ironing this morning hasn't helped. Just having five then I'm going to do a HHC in DS's room at 10 if anyone would like to join me.

    Morning everyone.

Dusty it does make me think that every time I spend any length of time at home the D goes from mine too.

    Elle, huge hugs for you
Bossymoo - and for you. Can you just miss the photo bit and do some quiet remembering outside? I would.

I need to get everything straight again before going back to work

Christmas tree de-cluttered and loose needles hoovered up. Hall and DR floor mopped. Just wondering how long before DS reclaims the space the tree has occupied to dump his school bag and belongings. About 2 days I'm guessing!

  • Sorry no post yesterday but was in town before heading down to OH's.

Went to Boots and got repeat script stuff sorted. Got eyes tested and got new glasses (thankfully with the NHS voucher came in under £40). Also glad they don't want to see me for another 2 years.

Today some flying in Sandwick before heading out for game of trivial pursuit with friends later. OH just putting washing out, tidy and clean kitchen and bathroom and a bit of hoovering. Will probably have a bit of a lie down after that and hope enough spoons for night.

Glad those who were poorly are feeling better. Hope the spoonies have enough of them and healing and strength vibes to those going through a rough time.

I will come and join you up to 10.30 - to push hoover around as EX MIL is on the bus on her way home now.....time to reinstate the Skint Ritz not the Skint Pitz :rotfl:
