Glad the poorlies seem to be on the mend
I've braved the cupboard of doom - flung 3 coats and a jacket that were no use to anyone and found some rugs I knew were lurking somewhere.
I need to do many more binbag dances tomorrow, I am sooooooo fed up of stuff being left lying around... warning will be given and then the flingage will begin
More washing and drying done. Dinner cooked and scoffed.*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0 -
Sister helped me out big time today. My bedroom has been de cluttered and deep cleaned! Car full of stuff for the dump, 3 bags for cs and 1 for sister to take home. Bed drawers all hoovered and re packed. En suite cleared and Christmas decs put n loft:j
Had major delivery - 500kg - of work stuff yesterday so had to clear garage and put it in the shed. Another bit sort out, but it is cathartic!
Just did a s & s round lunge and kitchen tonight, with quick Hoover. Dad and brother coming tomorrow to cut up some granite for behind my log burner. Have feeling its going to be a messy job.
Just need to get washing and ironing mountain under control and then ready for another week!2015 £2 Saver #82

Evening everyone...
Hope you have all had a good day. I just wanted to thank Bossymoo, Rowan tree and Ionafan for all your kind words, support and advice. It really means a lot, so thank you. Last summer we moved to a new area because of a new job my ex-husband got; it has now left me somewhere where I don't really have any friends, and my family all live quite a distance from me, which can make things quite isolating and lonely, despite having three children and a busy home! I have those moments where I crave a bit of adult conversation! Everything you all said makes so much sense; I just have to remind myself of these things when I am struggling with it all. We have not seen him since he walked out, which is probably better at the moment. Seeing him will stir all the emotions up again.
I managed to pack away all the Christmas decorations today. When I was putting them away, I thought to myself, I hope when all these come out again, life will be different, settled and a lot happier for myself and the children. Gave the garage a bit of a tidy while I was in there. I made a load of phonecalls I needed to make, and got all the children fed and showered. I must finish my internet food shop, and then head to bed. Take care everyone. See you tomorrow when I must get my oven and hob cleaned. I have promised myself to do it for the past couple of days, and I still have not done it....I keep finding other things to do instead!! xx0 -
Betsie well done, that is some achievement

Need to stay up for 20 more minutes to go and collect DS2 from work and then my lovely bed.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Finally got myself in gear and took the Christmas trees down. Well worth the effort as half of the cadbury tree decorations were still there nom nom. Packed all the baubles away and ready for the loft tomorrow. Real tree needs taking ouside in the morning when DH about as it is too heavy for me alone. Decide my tree lights have seen better days (only 25 years old), as half of them have blown and it is impossible to find bulbs for them anymore. May see if I can find some in the sales to put away for next year. Decided not to hoover the hall /dining room until the tree is outside as it is bound to lose some of it's needles on route. It was lovely but I will be glad to have the space back again.
DD's bedding washed, dried and back in her wardrobe so I have achieved a bit tonight.Make £10 per day in July £45.48/£310

Not really got started yet.....
I will try again.....
I've been lurking for the past couple of days with sadly very little flying to show for it; feel really bad. Yesterday got off to a bad start - spent too long being nocturnal reading forums till far too late; consequently overslept, got to work late (annoying as I'd planned to get in early so I could slope off after lunch to catch up with a friend). Found I'd left my entry pass at home, so had to be buzzed in through several doors by different people. Up to office on 3rd floor and realised I'd left my phone in the car............boring bit in middle.....left work and got 5 mins down road when engine malfunction light came on in car.........boring bit phoning OH, phoning garage, getting home, sitting at garage for car to be plugged into computer.........etc etc.
Plan for today was gym classes x 2 but guess what, too late on computer so overslept. Car driveable so got to friend and had great chat, coffee and shop (bargains). But basically have achieved nothing useful.
Lots of good intentions for the weekend, no I really mean it and MUST catch up. Good luck everyone and I hope you're doing better than me, I hate being this lazy.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Evening! Not a lot done this evening, bit of stitching, bit of tea drinking, bit of photo hunting (young cousin doing a slide show after funeral of pics of granny
I don't think it's appropriate tbh but what do I know?) - some of us find looking through old pics a bit painful
Anyway, Tis done, onwards and upwards...
Tomorrow:
More laundry - mostly bedding
Ironing - only have a few bits
Empty DW
Make kids beds up
Get packed lunches ready
Take DS to football club
Have a quiet afternoonBossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
evening......very tired out....went to Pharmacy to get my emergency insulin, but Dr's hadn't done the scrip, so had to hot foot it to Dr's wait for them to find it, then get back to Pharmacy before it shut.:eek::eek:
took my glass recycling out with me, so once meds safe and sound took glass to bottle bank and went to Mr I's with DS to get some ready meals in, to take the edge of the dailies......bargain frozen chickens £2.25....thank you Mr I:T don't mind if I declutter half of your cabinet then???:rotfl:
visit to Mr I took more spoons than I thought, DD1 and DD3 put it all away, while I put some food in oven for everyone and let the timer sort it out
had to re-do the rubbish bin for 2nd time today from EX MIL's re-organising while I was out........paper re-sorted, tin cans rinsed and put in recycling, non recyclables rinsed and double wrapped before putting back in bin liner (animal sanctuary behind me attracts rats, and I can't be having rats rummaging around my bins again :mad:)
DW fed again, S&S kitchen after dinner......roadkill pot has gone missing all Skints disavow all knowledge of whereabouts, blood pressure rising as was in its place last week and couldnt declutter my coppers in it tonight.
LR decluttered as I really lost my rag when I sat on the sofa and cut my foot, because the throws were missing.....all toys away, throws and cushions summoned from all over house, newspapers re-assembled and put in proper recycling, gibble removed from mantle...my patience is wearing thin now when I push through pain barrier at flybaby/my expense and people who should know better suffer from CBA syndrome
deep clean main bathroom, dirty washing fling...27 fling boogie upstairs, then hoovered hallway and my bedroom
DS completely missed his nap and has only just quit, so I am very much ready for bed.......tomorrow downstairs is getting a thorough hoovering before the Skint Pitz makes an unwelcome return
Sorry for whinging, just fed up 3 months of hard flying can be undone so quickly
A more cheery Skint Breeder should rematerialise tomorrwnighty night
The cold never bothered me anyway0 -

Hi Dusty
Im not using my real name. I could not remember what my username was when I was a "flylady" years ago, so had to re-register. The film "Legally Blonde" was on, while I was joining up again, hence the name....no offence taken...don't worry x0 -
Morning All
I woke up at 4.10 and couldn't get back to sleep so I thought I may as well get up! Plan is to sort through the ironing pile to see a) what needs ironing, b) what needs getting rid of or c) what can be just put away. I also want to have a tidy up in the LR and at some point today I want to have a go at DS's BR but not spend all day in it like I did DD's yesterday.
Skinty - hope today's a better one and make sure you rest.
Have a good day all
Hugs
