"Full HD/HD Ready"just means the screens are capable of displaying a picture in HD (either 1080 or 720)... it doesn't mean the TV has an HD tuner in it (many don't).
Sounds like yours don't and you will need a seperate way of delivering an HD signal. What make/model are they ?0 -

They have a Freeview tuner, not a Freeview HD tuner.0

Surely if a seperate tuner was required, shouldn,t it say so ?
looks like OFT on the case, doesn,t do what it states it does.
Are tuners available without recorder or other.
There,s thousands of unhappy punters, like me, been sold a pup;;0 -
You can buy a non-recording Freeview HD box, but it does sound as if you were perhaps mis-sold the TV.
If it says 'Freeview HD' on the box, then it should have an HD tuner built in. If it just has 'Freeview' and separately 'HD Ready' , then it won't pick up the HD signal - depends if you can prove what you were told, or if you just misunderstood that they were two seperate things?0 -

On the box it says, freeview, buy now, no hd mentioned.
How can you buy freeview,? the box and manual, all leads one to assume it,s all set up for plug and play hd tv. Is there a seperate tuner available just for HD channels? The picture is great, until my son mentioned his chanels are 101 not 1, for HD, I assumed it was HD.asdas reviews say, happy, easy set up, watching hd, great, no mention of a tuner anywhere on box or manual;;;;0
