Election may be 2 years away but it is already lost - good article -Interesting - four main reasons why Cameron's Cons ,mathematically, cannot win the next general election 2015
1) Strong united Labour party
2) Cons failure to impress in the north
3) Ethnic voters also less than impressed
4) That 'marriage' row!
also encompassses boundary changes, ukip, split vote,Osbornes economic failure etc. Very good read!

DLW... I think that you will raise the blood pressure of quite a few that visit this Forum.
The blame game will run out on New Years Day and they are going to have to take a good luck at themselves in the mirror to recognise the problems that THEY have created and to do someting about them in an orderly and sensible way.
According to Merriam-Webster - Conservatism is
a political philosophy based on tradition and social stability, stressing established institutions, and preferring gradual development to abrupt change; specifically: such a philosophy calling for lower taxes, limited government regulation of business and investing, a strong national defense, and individual financial responsibility for personal needs (as retirement income or health-care coverage)
Perhaps the Government needs to look at this definition before taking any more decisions.0 -

LoL - Raised Blood Pressure is no excuse for anything according to JobCentre Plus ,Prospects, UniversdalJobsFarce etc - still 'fit for work' even if a walk to work is likely to cause you to kick the bucket according to some of the many stories i have read on the Jobless and Disabled boards here. The irate few just have to get used to the truth come 2015 - that is all I'm aiming to do ,stick up for the voiceless and also make sure the other side of the argument gets heard!
The Cons don't ,and never have, represented truly the British working class. Its always ben a case of the Haves and The Have Nots.0 -

Those of us, working class that is, that were born during the last war and a couple of decades after, will certainly agree with what you say because we have had to put up their policies that was directed at them rather than us, were all in it together never really existed, now that comment is a way of saying 'sorry I have not got a clue how to solve it' because of the wave of change these past fifty years that we were unable to control as we did before.0 -

Good point - I think the Cons rue the day they ever said 'we're all in this together' I notice they have stopped saying it ,and also that the duo-combi photo ops with Cam and Clegg together have stopped!
Interesting point you made earlier about New Year's Day being some sort of catalyst? Sounds fascinating.... have you heard some secret gossip? (or maybe fiscal cliff in US)0 -

Not according to betfair the current odds are approx:
4/5 Labour
5/4 ToriesChuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
