Afternoon all!
Check out all the amazing productive days! Woop!
Quiet one here, NSD, rubbish day at work, slogged on swagbucks for hours to get to target and I'm going to stick something in the oven and veg out when I get home. Because that's all I feel fit for after this blah blah Monday!
No pennies, no sales, no debt payments to report. But still no spending either!0 -
Afternoon all - its a real shock to be back at work but at least our first day was only until lunchtime (early start though!)
So far today I have sent off a form to redeem my premium bonds - had them 3 years and won nought! - and downloaded the form to recoup my union fees. I ahve also printed out my 25p Tesco voucher and, wonders of wonders, made my first sale of 2013 on ebay!! I have listed most things to start at 99p but had a nice handbag in tip top condition - it sold today for £60 which will make a nice nick in the overdraft (debt number 1).
This afternoon I am planning to :-
1) gain as many adpoints as possible,
2) sort out my wardrobe. I have been with sw since last June and have lost 4 stone - this then causes the problem of needing new clothes but I am that typical yo yo dieter so need to see what range of sizes I have to ensure that purchases are kept to a minimum.
3) put my debts into the snowball calculator to sort out a plan for repayments.
Love to you all xx
PS - just added 120 points - 60p to my penny gathering - go me!
WOW! 4 stone since June is FANTASTIC!....it took me all of 2012 to lose 2.5! amazingly well done you! I'm back 'on it' now and started the year well with a 2.5lb loss....4stone in 2013 would be brilliant for me.......any tips you can pass on ?0 -

Thanks for that. TBH I am one of life's more cuddly ladies so need to lose at least as much again. I find that a diet full of fresh fruit and veg helps. I always start with a breakfast of pineapple and melon (pineapples are around £1 at the moment) with muller light yog (strugging to decide between buying more for next week or go for the 2 syn option of homemade yog - I have packs in the cupboard). Then I tend to have some form of soup - veg based of course - for lunch followed by meat and three / four veg for tea. All of this makes me seem virtuous - trsut me I am still losing the 6 lbs I put on over christmas!! So well done you on your 2.5 lb loss.
I guess that its like the penny gathering task - little and often will get yu there in the end!44 day challenge

Good evening everyone
Back to work todaybut it wasn't too bad - free lunch
NSD number 6 today which I'm amazed about!! Have high hopes for the rest of the week now I'm back at work but lets wait and see!!
Keep thinking about trying to ebay some stuff - I haven't got much left to sell (had major declutter in the summer) but I really must make some effort. I had a number of soaps/bathbomb stuff from Lu&h which I can't use - should I sell as a job lot or individual pieces? Does that kind of thing sell?
I have been offered some overtime which I can count towards £155 target too but wont declare that until I have done the hours.
Hope everyone has a lovely evening xFebruary 2021 GC £301.45 / £300.00

Hi to everyone:)
Well notched up another nsd today, its a great feeling managing on what Ive got in, its daft really cos I have soooo much in and theres only me - but normally I would just keep going to SM!!!! perhaps that the problem - I should stand up and say 'Im nannygladys and Im a compulsive SM shopper':rotfl:anyway feel a lot better, just got to get the weight problem sorted I have been to SW in the past so I think I will look my old books out and give it a go, but I need to give a load of choc away first:rotfl:
Anyway we all seem to be doing brilliantly but for me personally I reckon the next week will be difficult as I need a few bits and pieces but I really dont want to spend any money and break my nsd - sad arent I?:rotfl:

Lost my NSD cos i had to send a parcel by special delivery. However i may get a bigger reward back. So while i was losing a NSD i bought a storage unit. I then sold some stuff on fb, another 45quid when everything gets collected tomorrow. So Im feeling fairly happy.
Storage unit full and more stuff to sell so there was method in my madness. Although now i need to be super good.
Wish me luck lol. L2B.xLBM 2008 [STRIKE]£45,091.23[/STRIKE] eek: now £7889:T Debt free date 18/07/20180 -
Evening all!
First day back at work after the xmas hols and what a day its been. Have been greeted home by the news that my husband is possibly being made redundant. There are three of them competing for one job and its just a complete nightmare. His work have all the procedures to go through so won't find out for 2 weeks and what a long two weeks they are going to be. We have a huge mortgage, four children including twins who have just turned one and a huge debt to service - what an absolute nightmare.
All the more reason for me to get my head down with this challenge. Had a planned spend day today - fuel for both cars and weekly food. Spent £55.39 in total but got a LOT of shopping for that. Was hoping to keep to £40 pw but will take the extra £15 from next weeks shop as certainly won't need much for next week now - just fresh bits.
Had another £1.42 tesco price promise voucher from mums Tesco receipt and found £3.30 in my work drawer - every little helps, especially at the moment!!!
Packed lunches are made and ready for tomorrow, bags are packed, now to sit down with hubby and put together a worst case scenario emergency financial plan. Just typical that for the first time in over 10 years we just start to tackle our financial situation seriously and in the same week he finds this out
Hope everyone is having a better day than me!!!
