Butlins do not allow you to drop the entertainment passes, we have been 4 times and I always try when paying the balance on the holiday on the off chance I get a newbie but they always say the entertainment passes are obligatory! Hth!

    The T&C's say:

Pets are NOT permitted for bookings at any of the parks in this offer. If your park and specific holiday home is able to accept pets this will be shown on your confirmation and payment for pets should be made direct to your holiday park.

Has anyone managed to take their doggy with them on one of these hols? The last time we went we didn't have our 4 legged friend..but now i couldn't imagine taking a holiday without her! :embarasse

Haven allow you to take your dog, at a cost of £80 a week but when you are out of the caravan so must the dog be we had a bit of a problem few years ago although the dog(small dog) was only a pup and in his cage and we were only taking kids to pool for an hour they came to do some repair to caravan and told us dogs are not allowed to be left in caravan when i asked how we were supposed to use site facilities they said it was not their problem that was the rules

Thanks Tatty. I'll have a proper look into it then; even with the extra, its still a lot cheaper than any other holiday option we have this year i reckon. How cute that you took your kitten; were you not worried about any scratching incidents?

Nope, not worried at all. When we first had her when she scratched we told her 'No' in a strict way and pointed at her nose, then took her over to her scratching post. After a couple of occasions it never happened again. We always take her scratching post, litter tray and bed with us anyway. And don't forget to take some toys! I forgot to mention as well, check the holiday site you are thinking of going to first, as some breeds of dog are not allowed. I would hate you to get there and they stopped you getting in. Apparently the reason they charge extra for pets is because they have extra cleaning to do after you have left, i.e. fur and hairs. Have a good one! :D

I stand corrected, Maybe it's just come in?
You reminded me I needed to pay the balance on my march break. I asked about removing linen and entertainment and she said yes! I was too worried they would change to asking for passes like Haven do and so paid the £18 for them anyway, but have definately not been allowed to remove them before!
