Today i paid for my butlins sun holiday (from the last promotion) but i asked them to take off the entertainment passes to save a few quid (ive never been asked for passes at butlins before plus the pool is having work done so may be closed). Am I right in thinking i'll still be able to use the entertainment or have butlins bought out passes since I last went?

I was at minehead on December 14th and they didn't use passes :D

Has anyone been to Paris and done Disneyland at the same time? My other half wont drive over there so we would need to fly... Im wondering if anyone had any tips if they had done this previously :)
Got my priority code also this morning so they are flying them out at the moment...
There is a site called Le Chene Gris which is ideal for doing Disney but not really when relying on public transport

there is a train station opposite the site ( not noisy) but not many trains and don't think a direct one to Disney ?

French roads /motorways are so much better than ours and it's an easy straightforward drive

we have stayed @ Le Chene Gris once and La Croix Du Vieux Pont about 4 times

We have been to Berny Riveiere (not via Sun deals though) and did Disneyland. Site is amazing and about 1 hour drive from Disneyland. We did drive over, so can't comment on flying, but driving is so easy and park is about 3 hours from Calais

You don't have to show passes at Butlins to use the fair or pool but I thought that on this promotion for them to claim as much back as they can you would have to pay for Butlins passes - maybe I am wrong? We never pay for passes at Haven as we never use their facilities and usually you have to show cards to get into anything there.
No buying toiletries challenge - possibly for most of 2011,2012,2013,2014,2015!
    £1 in sealed pot for each UU (2011 135/500:D) 2012 have UU 130/400 (never realised I had a mini chemist under my bed!!!) :rotfl:2013 UU 156/350. 2014 UU 197/250 2015 UU 16/100

    Got my form too
Went to butlins last year and upgraded to gold with premium dining too
Was worth the extra, pity it rained solid all the time we were there lol
Year before went to mablethorpe, haven and again upgraded and had heaters in the bedrooms
    Will do another again
Will the codes be posted again?
Who's been where in Lincolnshire and enjoyed it?

Was it much to upgrade to Gold and premium dining at butlins? We did butlins last year (bognor) Gold apartment and premium dining and loved it wouldn't want to go back unless I could do that again though as am spoilt now. It cost us £550 for 4 nights so thinking this could work out an alot cheaper way of doing it!
  • Does the code automatically come in the post?

I rang up and queried this as I'd previously been away through the Sun holidays but by collecting the vouchers and sending them off, they gave me a code over the phone there and then. This was when they ran the offer earlier in the year and we booked to go away in Easter. We received a new early booking code the other day to use with this promotion too so it's worth a call. :)

Ive never been on one to be honest, although I did get a priority code ths morning too. It seems to be all a bit complicated as well as
an extra £xx for this and an extra £xx for that, per person per night, per unit, passes. Does it really work out cheaper.

We're going away through Sun holiday promotion with Haven in the Easter holidays, after we had booked online using our early booking code we looked at the Haven website to find out more about the campsite and found that Haven had protional offers of their own and we could have booked for almost the same price and been more specific in our requests. There are a number of add-ons with the Sun that you don't get a full breakdown of until after you've booked.

Don't forget, if you don't want to be converting the sofa, you might want to add one or two extra names to guarantee you the extra bedroom. :)
  • Hi,
Sorry might be a daft question but it seems to say everywhere that it is for up to 4 people we are a family of 5 me,hubby, 3 kids does this mean we won't be able to participate? Has anyone ever done one with 5 before? Is it possible?

We're a family of four, two adults and two children but I put down for six so that we're guaranteed an extra bedroom and then we don't have to make up the sofa-bed. I think it's one caravan per booking and depending on campsite most go up to eight people so you should be fine. :)

when we had 1 child, we had 2beds, but been twice now with 2 children and had 3 beds, which has been great (and a bit unexpected).
Haven pre-allocate caravans, so you turn up and get an envelope with your name on it. Parkdean allocate on first-come first served (in our very limited experience) so we think we got a nice caravan cos we got there early!
