    Hi ladies,

This months magazine Mar/ Apr has a recipe pg 30 for Chicken Korma. It says 1 tbsp korma curry powder. I can't find it in Tesco / Asda / Sainsburys.

    Any ideas please?
In my local Asda the korma powder isnt in a jar like the normal spices it is in a black tub. I think they were £1.39 when i got my last lot. I ran out of korma powder when i made the curry last night so used tikka and it was really nice.

BCS my sister is on anti d's, although she isnt following SW to the t she is trying to lose weight and all the weight she lost prior to being put on them has come back and then some from what she was saying earlier in the week when asking me how i was getting on. You can get diff meds though that do not affect your eating habits/ and or weight gain/loss. Hope you are feeling better in yourself soon.

Maman. The recipe is just 40g dark choc, eggs, sweetner, f/f nat yog. tin cherries, cocoa powder. I think i have remembered it all, cant get mag as it is in lounge and just moped floors.

Ceecee white bread in any form can not be used as HEB as theres no dietry fibre in it so has to be synned sorry.

Londondreamer Groups get the magazine a week earlier than the shops so it should be available from the 11th Feb instore.

Psychopathbubble i too purchased the nutrigrain biscuits today that are now HEB and they must be ok as son also opened one of the packets and promptly ate all 4 so 2 as heb 2 as syns. Will have my 2 later with a cuppa. Draw a line under today and start a fresh tomorrow. We all have our down days.

Use any mild curry powder or, better still, google korma recipes and see what spices they use. Spices in powder form are free.

if you cant find korma powder and don't like the alternatives you could use the paste.. its 2 syns tho for a level tablespoon..

stef that's what i'm afraid of, it was being on the anti d's that made me put on the weight in the first place. :( I don't want to mess up all my hard work so will most likely just try to get on with it.

What Nutrigrain biscuits are they? I usually have 2 Alpen Light Bars for my HEB but it would be nice to have a change. :A

    Breakfast - 3 bacon, 2 poached eggs, 1 small wholemeal toast (3 syns), 1/2 tin beans, 1 plum & 1 apple.
Lunch - 2 Alpen Light bars HEB
Dinner - Chilli (again) & Actifry chips made with Frylight.
Dessert - Slice of 1/2 syn cake.
Snacks - 2 jumbo cheese Snack A Jacks (4 syns) & a Muller Light fat free yoghurt.

The Chilli is all gone now thank god. :rotfl:

Calendar says the 14th so I wasn't expecting to find it until next week, I'm just impatient. Feels like SO long since the last one, wish they'd do monthly issues!

This should be a link to one of the packets of biscuits - there are 3 flavours to choose from.
