I got mine today (prime). So I'll let you know tomorrow. I have VERY thick hair, it is naturally curly/wavy. I've a whole drawer of unused, bar once, useless hair tools.
When I say thick, I've yet to have a hairdresser not  at it and charge £20 extra for a blow dry. Wish I was exaggerating.
So I shall give it a go, when out of my pit tomorrow :rotfl: and update how good it is for hardcore hair, eg, thick, wavy, etc.0 -
My hair is really thick, and I moult like a cat-in-summer. I always straighten it to within an inch of its life when I am going to the hairdresser who says "your hair is perfectly straight what are you talking about" then they wash it and realise it's expanded like an afro. I got my styler today, looking forward to trying it tomorrow!!0

My hair is the same...wash it...it looks permed.0

My mother who has thin poker straight hair loves it as "it's got such a lovely natural wave" - meanwhile I am still trying to get my hair out of the door. It seems to wave outwards. About once every hundred washes it curls nicely, the rest of the time it expands.0

Same, always want what you haven't got. Everyone I know...loves my hair apart from me...such volume  nice waves :eek:0

What a coincidence ? my mother in law has thin poker faced features, wonder if this will help "wave" her out the door0 -
Elvisia reporting in: used it this morning and after initial squeaking from me as I kept getting it caught up in my hair I have got the hang of it. It's very good, it really is like having the hairdresser using a hairdresser on your hair with the round brush. I also eventually worked out how to do it round the back. I found it useful to use it sideways to create drop curls. It will need more practise, but my hair really is lovely and shiny and no longer all frizzy.0

Did you do it from wet or blow dry 1st?0 -
I dried my hair first, and left it a tiny bit wet. By the time though I had fiddled about unpacking the babyliss and reading the instructions it was almost dry! My hair takes a lot of drying though.
If anyone is still unsure there are loads of videos on youtube showing you how to use it.0 -
Just to say, I've had mine a year and love it. I have lots of curly hair and this gets it almost straight (just needs going over with straighteners after). Takes about 20 mins going through my sectioned hair, although it's only shoulder length. Gives it the sort of bounce I usually only get from a professional blow dry.Slummy mummy!0
