Would this work on waist length hair (wavy and lots of it too...)? I don't use anything atm, too lazy to spend so long straightening it (plus, I'm wary of damaging it). I'm very tempted...

I've heard they can be damaging so probably not best to use of waist length hair.

  • If you have long or coarse hair its best to think about sectioning it to get the best results. It will work, but obvioulsy it will take longer to do.

Although do keep the receipt somewhere safe.
Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.
  • Just ordered one with the last of my Christmas money! Thanks, OP!
  • I think I'm going to order it off amazon. As they are very good with returns. Not to mention they keep an online record of your purchases, so the three year gte has swung it.

The 'really bad' (i.e. one star) reviews on Amazon almost all relate to product failure - so the 3 year guarantee might give you a bit of reassurance on that front. The vast majority of people gave it 4 or 5 stars - 530 out of 621 - so it clearly has plenty of fans!

aaargh, it was in the no camp until I read your post - swaying towards the yes again. hmm....

Always thought it looked good but not quite sure what it'd do to my hair. I've got curly hair that I can't blow dry because it goes into a massive frizzy mane - anyone tried this with curly hair and had nice results? I wear my hair curly 99% the time so that's not an issue but I'd quite like to try this if it could give me a nice alternative style :D
