  • Pinklady, it really does depend on hair type. I have coarse hair and quite thick and it really holds the bounce. I use it more cos I can't blow dry my bob without it. It does not work on my Mum's fine straight hair at all.

  • I have fine straigh hair and my mum has very fine hair, it works a treat on our hair. It did take a bit of practise though, I section my hair first.
Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

Every woman should have one of these. They're amazing. I use mine every single day. It makes it behave. I often dont even bother getting the straighteners out anymore it's that good.

I have a short bob right now, of v thick wavy hair but it was brilliant when it was long too. BUY ONE NOW!:D

Anther recommendation here. I do my mum's hair for her (she's not very good lol) and it's great. If I had £25, I'd be buying one too!

Currys price seems to go up and down like amazon - started at £44.99 went down to £19.99 (that's when I bought it) then went back up to £30-35 a few days later (can't quite remember) and now it's £24.99 - all within a month or so. Very good product though.
  • ohh it been so long since we had a post on the big hair styler!

They are suitable for all hair types, long short, straight and curly. I am on my third one, i love it.

When you say you are on your third one - how long do they last? And what happens to mean you need another?
  • Thanks - just bought one based on the comments on here.
  • Savingmonkey, I believe they eventually burn out. I've had mine nearly a year, but only use it once every few days. It's so great, I will happily replace it when it does go, especially if I can get it at a fantastic price like it is now.

I burned two out. not sure if it was just back luck or because of over use. This happened after about 8-10 months, but the shop I bought it from replaced it so its fine by me.

  • Word of warning is keep your receipt !

The hair dryer is really good but Dragon is on her third one in thirty months, fortunately the warranty is three years. Cannot fault the styler, but heard of many others which slow down and burn out ? Dragon doesn't particularly have a long mane, but she wouldn't swap to another make
