I know what you mean about feeling lighter.:)
Hope the snow stays away-we had loads yesterday.0 -
Good Morning
Nothing much to yap on about here this morningA quick check of the bank account shows that another bill has been paid and all is still well
Some money will go in again tomorrow but will come straight back out again when I make a cc payment
One ebay item finishes today which has sold for the princely of 50pbut it's 50p in my pocket and another [STRIKE]piece of junk [/STRIKE]quality item out of the house
I have found some more things to list but will wait a few days, this trekking back and forwards to the post office is starting to annoy me and probably the wee man in the post office too
Will be working on my shopping list tonight from my meal plans and the lists of thing in my cupboards etc. I shouldn't need too much but I still haven't used any of the Mr T money card so I know I'll not be spending any of my own moneyThat's a nice feeling
Hope everyone is staying warm and dry. Have a great dayFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Good Morning
I hope everyone is staying warm. It is sooooooo cold here at the momentIf the snow comes tomorrow I might even have to resort to having the heating on longer than it is supposed to be  and I was doing so well too.
Bank account is still healthy looking and I paid a cc this morning with....wait for it......a whole 74p over payment :rotfl: It's all I could afford so far this month but every penny helps if it saves a couple of pence in interest
The cash for clothes valuation came back and I am looking forward to a cheque for £15.60 coming in the post. Better than nothing for a bag of old clothes that I would have put out either in the bin or a charity bag. Now to get collecting for the next bag
Nothing much happening on the ebay frontbut I will not give up. Relist seems to be my button of choice at the moment
It'll go, I just wish it would go a bit quicker
Have a great day everyoneFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Phew, morning Fifty. Just spent a while catching up with four pages of your diary I missed. Tesco Broadband kindly left me with no internet for four days, so have fallen behind with everyones diaries.
Boy have you been busy. :T
Well done with the MR T business. Wow I would be over the moon with a £100 gift card :j.
Congratulations of being in the BLACK . I am more than jealous. I will hopefully have killed off a £1000 of my OD this month, but still £2000 OD .
Like you I am #baying like mad to try to fluff up the bank account as much as possible. My spreadsheet says it will be at least April before I am out of the OD and I want it to happen sooner.
Good luck with staying out of the OD, I am sure you can do it. Must be a great feeling. Are you going to cancel off some of your OD or keep it as a buffer.?
I am tempted to keep mine, while I pay off all the other debts, as I won't have been able to get an emergency fund going.
Anyway hope you are snow free and warm. Speak soon xx0 -

Good Morning
The good news here this morning is that so far there is no snowand, according to the forecast, we are not going to get any
I realise that is very selfish of me and I am sorry
More good news is that I received a cheque in the post yesterday from the DVLA for the car tax I claimed back when I wrote off the car. £42.50 going into the bank todayMy bank account doesn't know what has hit it....or not hit it....IYKWIM
It is still looking good and I am still in the black. If I can be a good girl until next pay day I think I might have cracked it (4 weeks to go
and there I go, wishing my life away again
)
Posted off all the ebay sales yesterday and now there is nothing selling. There is a lot of watchers spread over the 21 things I have on there but no actual bidsNever mind, they'll sell eventually.......positive mental attitude
So, in keeping with my new motto, "if you can't eat it, wear it or use it......then sell it" a de-cluttering weekend awaits me and an ebay pile will follow
Have a great day everyone, stay safe and warm and if you get snow I hope it lies long enough to look pretty and then melts away to nothingFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
I hope that you don't get more snow. Here they've forecast a lot of snow from tonight.:(
Great to get that money back from the DVLA.
:j:j And well done on the cc overpayment-it all adds up!:)0 -
Good afternoon
Busy old morning in the freeby household.
Dogs walked, housework begun and shopping completed
Came down the stairs this morning to a nice toastie house but the minute the heating went off I could feel the cold airso the heating is back on and it looks as if it is going to have to stay on for the day  The thermostat is right down as low as I can get it without the heating going off so hopefully it'll keep the temperature level without using too much gas  Nothing else for it, just have to grin and bear it in this weather
Did my grocery shopping from my meal plan this morning and I spent £39.49 from my Mr T money cardso I still have £60 left on it for next week
Put the receipt into the price checker thingy they have but I can guarantee it will come back saying they were the cheapest. They usually do.
Loads of watchers on my ebay things but no bidders  I can't decide if they are watching because they have something similar to sell and want to see how much mine go for, or whether they are waiting to make a last minute bid. Last minute bids would be good.
Paid my car tax cheque into the bank yesterday and was quite smug that I actually had money in there. The first time in what feels like forever I have put money in, when there had already been money in - if that makes sense?????
Nothing else to report. Lots of housework still to be done and some de-cluttering planned too. Ebay here I come (again)
Have a great day and stay warmFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Good luck with the #bay sales. I have a load finishing tomorrow, so hope lots of people are wanting to buy tat on a Sunday
.
I like your motto of "If you can't eat it, wear it or use it, then sell it".:T:T:T
Going to use that motto on my hunt for more #bayable stuff. I have sold all the obvious stuff and its getting a little harder now,:o.
Good luck and well done with the healthy bank account. I am still jealous:D0 -
Thanks Steph
Good luck with your ebay stuff.:)
And don't be jealous of the bank account, the way you're going it won't be long until you have one to smile about tooFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150
