Went to Stockport store today around lunchtime, the shelves were a sorry sight but managed to get some sanctuary gift bags and royal jelly gift bag. There were a few other things I wanted that weren't there but I'll keep my eye out on ebay.

why so shameful, what's wrong with people buying things at discount and selling them for more? Isn't that how most of the stuff we buy comes about anyway?

    Good luck to them.
  • Just spent over 300 pounds and saved around 700 that's alright

Shameful because a lot of these people are the ones who block off the aisles and sweep everything into trolleys, stopping genuine shoppers from buying what they want.

I am very pleased,I managed to buy enough for 3 Christmases.I didn't have to hand over any cash, I paid using capital bond vouchers which my husband was given by a rig he worked on.looked at the bottom of receipt and it said you have saved ....it was just under a £1000.00.

Once upon a time they had the option to filter away out of stock items from the search, but alas no more. Its very frustrating !!

visited M/Boro & 2 Stockton Stores today - lots of good bargains but what happened to all the men's stuff? We couldn't find any this year. Still very pleased with all our purchases. Thanks forumites for keeping us up to date!
