LOL, a mouldy, smelly kipper would definitely make me feel better! :rotfl: It has already put a huge smile on my face, which hasn't happened in a few days!

In all seriousness though... thank you to everyone for your support! It's nice to know that I have virtual shoulders to cry on if I need them. xxx

You'll get loads of support here miss_t and it's good to know you're smiling already. Along with the mouldy kippers we have soggy paintbrushes.. between them they solve most of the problems of the world:D

And a huge WELCOME to all the newbies joining the merry NSD gang, I hope you enjoy the ride :)
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)
  • Really feel I want to improve for this month, so could I sign up for 15 NSDs this month please! I will try and do better at checking in!
  • was planning a NSD today but the printer has run out of ink and needs replacing so will look around and see if anything else needs to be bought before challenge officially starts tomorrow.
want to get of to a good start for the new year. hope everyone has a good day its quite windy here at moment hope it dies down before I go out.
You can if you think you can .

Hi, can I join in ? Hopefully I am about 11 months shy of being debt free but the odd treats have crept into my spending :-( I am aiming on 20 nsd's. If dd's, travel or bills leave my account but I don't spend anything else, I will take it as a nsd.

    Good Morning lovely NSD-ers :)

Front page all updated and there is 66 of us taking on our own personal NSD challenges so far this month.
That is a brilliant number of us and I hope we all stick around to support and motivated each other :A

Remember - it is not always about hitting that magic number we have set ourselves but more about challenging the when, where and why we spend. It's taking small steps and changing habits and everytime we make a decision about not to buy something we have huge victories.

Have a great last day of 2013 :) Que sera, sera :)

Good morning folks and thanks to freeby and everyone else for organising and updating the thread:T.
I am in Edinburgh at the end of January, but wouldn't expect to spend that much, as my Mum gave us money for xmas;). I would therefore like to go for 16NSDs for January please:)
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

  • Can I join please? I've not been a part of these challenges before but I'm determined to cut back a little this year!

I like to go with 15 NSDs initially.
