miss-t - don't want to sound daft but no booze for you tonight, even a small one. Alcohol and potential concussion do not mix well and would mask any other symptoms.
Hope you don't mind the comment - just in case.
I wish it was January already - I don't think I've had 2 successive NSDs in living history but have managed yesterday and today - :j and  at the same time!
You can guarantee I'll spend something tomorrow now......0 -

ooooooo Miss T poor you, Are you in London perchance? Sounds like my local A & E. It seems the harder it is to recruit staff it is, the poorer the quality of care. London seems to have a particular problem, lets face it, living in London is hard enough without having to do it on NHS wages. Still I wish you better, take it easy and let the others run around you.
Candlewick, Good luck, I'm sure you can do it.
Happy new year all0 -
Thanks guys! OH was very good at keeping me awake in the hospital and I do feel a lot better in terms of alert at the moment. OH is not very happy with the hospital, but we have both agreed that if I do still feel bad, that's where I am going back to.
I do feel better now knowing that a lump is a good sign when it comes to head injuries, thanks wannabe-in-credit for that.
Will let you know how I get on, but am glad I am ending my awful year with this and not starting the new one in A&E (hopefully)
Ouch miss_t, that sounds painful:(
You've had some good advice already but please do be careful and go back to A&E if you feel unwell.
Take care, sending you a very squishy hug.

miss_t I hope you make a speedy recovery. You've had some good advice,I don't have anything to add,but I would also say no alcohol tonight and if in doubt,go back to A & E.
Candlewick good luck with stopping smoking.Have you read Allen Carr's book?I used to smoke and don't think I would have managed to stop if I hadn't read the book. It's over twelve years now that I've stopped.I think it's also important to concentrate on not smoking only 'today' and not to think about all the days and weeks to come,if that makes sense. You can do it!0 -
Hello NSD people,
Can I join and be put down for 10 days please?
