I think we need to move on from sorting out the 'heated discussion' now, dont we? It's bringing down the lightheartedness of this thread.
Everyon knows whats going on, and what rules are in place for both this NSD challenge, and also the January challenge run by NSK.

You are right. I have had my say on the other thread because of something that was said on this one that really upset me and now I am moving on. :(

Contrary to what some people think I am really a very nice person (well I think so anyway) and will try to do anything to help anyone. I am also 100% committed to being debt free and helping everyone here to get that way too despite what has been implied.

    I'm done.

shortie did you find out how much an exhaust would be?

Kinda, thanks for the pointer :) By the sounds of one poster I might be looking at £250 but then another person pointed me to a parts place and (unless I've totally got exhausts wrong, which is very possible :rotfl:) then I'm looking at around £70 in parts and 1 hours labour (all being well) at a max of £80. So the lower guide pirce would be £150. Quite a difference so I wonder what I've done wrong! But in my head I'm thinking it's the £250 and will hope it's the £150 :D I haven't got the money aside but will take it from the money I was planning to over pay on one off my loans if it is nearer the £250 mark

Thanks for the pointer though - it's quite a handy board isn't it? And comical too, had me chuckling away at the 'blunt but friendly' way that only a mostly bloke-lead board can work :rotfl::rotfl:

  • Morning all,

I'm wishing somebody would take the grabbit board away. I know I need new pillows and a mattress protector and I'm glad I got very good deals on them but now I'm looking at sheets that I don't need right now  Somebody save me...

Also I'm feeling rather lonely on the debt free diaries, please come and say hi https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4358737

Going to take myself off into the kitchen to make stock, then soup and a chicken pie, oh yes and a chilli, all to put in the freezer for when I'm back at work :(

There's nothing wrong with a trial run WTBS. Prob best not eating there anyway, the one local to us always honks of a greasy chickeny smell.
