NSK is a username- NinjaSavingKat. She runs the thread everyone's talking about above
Freeby, you couldn't sound like an old moo if you tried, you're an :A
Like you the NSD thread is very close to my heart having looked after it for 2 years + and I couldn't agree more with what you and rising are saying.
I don't mind how many people post NSDs on here and, to some extent how long the updates take, but it would be nice if the original spirit of the thread could be maintained. It would also have been nice if "someone" had asked if we minded everyone posting their NSDs on here... I don't see "someone" volunteering to do an update here occasionally....
Sorry, moan over.... I'll go back to my corner now:o
PS: WantToBeSE.. of course we'll have you and anyone else who wants to join our happy little gang:D Everyone's welcome here it would just be nice if those of us who do the work were considered occasionally......
I'm going now.. honest:o

A poster called NinjaSavingKat who in her eagerness is rubbing peeps up the wrong way a little bit.
Money saving can be such a blinkering experience sometimes - almost as bad as not admitting to debt in the first place
Thanks kittiej... you're very right with your commentsThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Apologies if i have hurt you by saying i was here because of Kats thread, that was never the intention. To be honest, i'd be here (and was here) before Kats threads.
The NSD thread is a vital part of keeping me on track, and i dont want to leave- therefore i would like to stay, declaring my own 25NSDs, in no way part of the other thread (which i will be withdrawing from).....if you'll have me?
Please don't withdraw just because of something I saidYou can do both, you don't have to chose one over the other
Just treat them differently and not as one challenge, is what I was trying to say (probably very badly)
And you are very, very welcome on hereFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Hi guys
just realised that since i will be joining NSKs thread, i will bow out of here. because of the spirit of the posts and intentions etc. however i hope my absence to be of short duration because i plan to have paid off all my debt in january!
if you dont mind, i will hang around like a bad smell and keep up with all you guys. ??????IF YOU THINK YOU ARE SO CLEVER, THEN WHY ARE'NT YOU RICH?

Hi everyone.
Well I did REALLY well in December. I aimed for 18 NSD's and I have done 20 so far and expect the last two days of the month will be NSD's too :j:j:j.
I am going for broke in January. Its a really tight month and seriously need to have 31 NSD's but that is RIDICULOUS :rotfl::rotfl:.
So I am aiming for 25 NSD's with 5 in a row.
That leaves me 6 days for unexpected costs, probably stuff to do with kiddies, that always surprise me with raffle tickets or tooth fairy costs etc etc.
Keep the thread going. I LOVE IT :T0 -

No, No, its not because of anything you said, its just that i know the NSD thread, above all others, keeps me on track.
I have chosen to withdraw from NSKs thread only because i dont have huge levels of debt (only about £700 left :T) and all this talk about both threads has made me realise that i dont need to be so harsh on myself0 -
freebyfifty wrote: »I just would like to point out that NSK's challenge is very different from the NSD thread.
There are less "rules" here, in fact you make your own rules as to what a NSD is and how many you want to achieve.
It is a relaxed, chatty thread with absolutely no pressure as to how many NSD you get or how you achieve them.
They are two very different challenges and should be treated as such.
Sorry if that makes me sound like a right old moo
Apologies - I hadn't thought about it in this way and certainly did not intend to 'gatecrash' the NSD thread.
Please can you withdraw me from this challenge.

I was wracking my brains trying to figure out what the K stood for as I assumed the NS in NSK stood for No Spend as it does in this!
I need the more relaxed style of this thread, it has been my saviour many times before.
Thanks to all involved in running it!
