I was waitingfor NSKs January Challenge to start!
Hi
Could you put me down for 25 NSDs as I've joined NSKs challenge as well (I was hoping she was going to say 20:o).Hi
Another NSK member signing up!! Could you put me down for 25 NSDs please
Thanks
MM
I just would like to point out that NSK's challenge is very different from the NSD thread.
There are less "rules" here, in fact you make your own rules as to what a NSD is and how many you want to achieve.
It is a relaxed, chatty thread with absolutely no pressure as to how many NSD you get or how you achieve them.
They are two very different challenges and should be treated as such.
Sorry if that makes me sound like a right old mooFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Hey Freeby, that doesnt make you sound like an old moo at all
I totally agree that both threads and challenges are different too, its just that both of them work for me. A NSD for me is when i dont spend a single penny. But, that just ME, and it works well for me, which coinsides with NSKs challenge too.0 -

I do "get" where you're coming from WantToBe but they are 2 separate challenges and if you're doing the NSDs as part of NSKs Challenge the NSDs should be reported on that thread - and not this one
They are not NSD in the spirit that this thread was created and has been running for a very long time (sorry but I do feel quite strongly about this)
To get the most out of this - people need to come on as often as possible, join in the chat etc - not just run in every so often saying "No xx" and flying out again - that's not the spirit of this thread (not saying you do this, but others certainly do!)
People are more than welcome to join this challenge - but it should be in the spirit in which it was intended to be .... if it's part of a separate challenge, then fine but keep track of them in that challenge - people do this on the Grocery Challenge each month so it's not new It's also creating a lot of extra work for the "updaters" - I don't think anyone asked them if they minded everyone from another challenge reporting their NSD on this thread so they do all the hard work!
That's not fair .... why can't you report them on your thread or you could all keep track of them in your sigs
Sorry ....Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000

Please can I be put down for 18 NSDs for January?Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Sorry ....
You know, i hadnt thought of it like this, and i have to say that i think you are right.
This thread was intended to be more relaxed, as freeby said, and thats really how to thread should continue. And the updaters shouldnt have to take on the work of 2 challenges when they didnt set out to.0 -
I'd like to set my first target of the new year as 12 NSDs please.0

Thanks ... sorry if it came across rather "mooish" to pinch Freeby's term!
I think when it happened for November most of us thought it would be a one-off .... then as it was so successful it happened again in December .... and now it looks like it's going to continue as January's challenge is up and it may well continue throughout 2013.
Now .... it's absolutely fantastic news that NSKs challenge is going so well & encouraging / enabling loads of people to be able to work towards clearing their debts:T and I am am avid lurker on the thread and read it everyday as I love seeing what everyone's doing to make cuts (just too hard for me to actually do it myself for various personal reasons:o) but if it is going to continue, then we really need to sort these NSDs out .....Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
