  • Morning Everyone!

Urgh! i must be exhausted i can hardly keep my eyes open and had to drag myself out of bed  Definitely not good when my assignment has to be handed in today  I was going to pop in here yesterday and update but the comp crashed (again - worrysome!) so gave in and went to bed and ended up scribbling loads of random things down to get them out of my head :o

Back to the assignment in a mo. but i felt trying to see without a bleary vision and having a moment to just breathe was important :)

Yesterday i was very slow in making progress on it so ended up taking myself out at lunch - caved and bought a vastly reduced sandwich - if i'd realised that would have not only been the 1st lunch bought this year AND not an nsd i'd have stopped myself! Not to worry though it is done now and hopefully i have been shocked into remembering this in future :o

2 pairs of shoes selected for either bay of e or carboot - i'll update the 365 declutter list when i decide but i'm thinking carboot - they are great condition but the time spent listing for 99p and then a possible complaint (as the silly person who bought some from me last time  isn't worth the hassle IMHO) I'm happy with just a £1 for them so possible carbooty fodder :)

Jwil - i'll pop in and 'see' you later or tomorrow - probaby too paniced and assignment focused to take in any other info. but hope you are well xx

So once again you lovely bunch :D if i could have *positive vibes* please for this assignment i would be truly greatful xx

  • Quick break!

So the 2 pairs of shoes = carboot - so many more pairs to make a decision on

Updated NSDs and lunches - today will be an NSD so i've added that - i'm not going anywhere just doing my assignment and there won't be any time for any on-line shopping - not that i *need* anything anyways.

    overpayment paid to mortgage

    Dryer is on.

Update on my next break which i'm thinking will involve a cuppa :coffee:

Positive vibes :) At least at the end of today you'll be able to forget about it!

Thank you so much jwil - and everyone else sending the positive vibes too :D

I'm stepping away from it for a minute now - I got it all typed up and in between doing that and several redrafts:-

    done 1 lot of washing
    dried washing
    2nd lot of washing
2nd lot of washing currently drying
    moved pots
    washed pots (yet to move!)
as confirmed selected 2 pairs of shoes for carbooty
listed 2 items on bay of e (or they will be when its free listing ;))
paid gas & electric bill :(
    made mortgage overpayment :T
put some shoes back in the wardrobe that i am 100% definitely keeping :D

I may now go and decide on another pair of shoes

Then its time for a hot pop and then i will get my editing head back on!

Basically when i initially wrote the piece i'd calculated an average of words per line and thought i was fairly spot on but i have vastly over-written - its not hard i could have easily done 4 times the amount needed  I have just spent over an hour and only managed to cut 100 words  so i will step away for a moment and when i hit the next 100 words cut barrier i will pop back ;) Phew!

I am still really tired today and as my appointment at the docs is first thing i have no chance of having a lie-in / rest tomorrow :o

Ok - 1 pair of shoes either back in the wardrobe or off to the land of bay of e or carbooty

    Then a hot pop

    Then 100 words cut

Then back on here for a breather - maybe after dusting

    Hi DDFW

been a very long time since I did any studying and I dont even know what you are all talking about but it sounds a serious amount of time and hard work. I expect by now you are done but good luck anyway :D

Your lists and the amount of work you do makes my life seem very dull and boring lol. I also want to find some stuff for ebay for this weekend but just too tired by the time I get home.

Hope the docs listen properly to you in the morning.

    take care x

    Aw thanks LAM :)

I am sure your life is way more exciting than mine - i think all my lists centre around - money / course stuff / life admin :o i just write lists as it works for me to push me and focus me as i am in truth a lazy thing :o How are you anyway Lam ? I expect i'll be shattered in the morning but hey ho! i will try and get the doc to listen and actually fix me!

I am not finished on the assignment however  but i am back as promised after the obligatory 100 word cull  So a quick update here, then another 100 word cut - obviously each time i cut 100 words the next 100 to go get harder to find as they are all so important!!

I have dusted except for the bedroom and they are simply shoe heaven or shoe doom whichever way you want to look at it :o Dusting meant the coffee table of chaos got tidied although the pile of trash belonging to my Mr is still sat there :o I actually sorted 6 pairs of shoes which i know i am keeping - is it me or do i seem to have alot of footwear ? :o :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    So plan is:-

    cut 100 words
hoover downstairs and stairs, landing and bathroom
move some more shoes maybe 3 pairs (i know i'm keeping them ;))
    Photo ebay items
    list 2 more items
bag all bay of e and carbooty stuff up to be put away
Get all stuff together for putting away
eat whilst popping on here and then
referencing maybe ?? or the next 100 words!!!

  • I would get the referencing done before it gets late and you are (more!) tired.

I failed on the decluttering. I tried the boots on and they seemed to fit OK so definitely keeping them! I tried on a couple of items of clothing and decided I liked them too!

I'm struggling on the motivation front at the moment. I hate the cold icy weather and I'm working a lot of hours so probably just tired. I am very much looking forward to the weekend when it warms up a bit. I may even be able to get out running again if the pavements clear. I think going running makes me feel better and maybe it is lying around too much and having a passive day job that is making me lethargic.

I hope it goes OK with the GP.

    Hi Chocs thanks :D

Referencing is actually only going to be bibliography (i think/hope!! going off sample work) and there isn't a vast amount of that to do - 3 things maybe ?

Good that you were going to get rid of stuff and then found you liked them - its almost like finding new stuff if you've not worn them in a while :)

Sorry you aren't feeling motivated at the mo. but as you say you have been working alot and it is hard not being able to get out and run! I think it'll be too icy here this weekend still :(

I only moved 2 pairs of shoes as i couldn't fit more in the wardrobe  Hoovering took forever! i really need a new vacuum but no money for such things :o even though it would've saved loads of time!! Right i am going to:-

    Eat
Cut the (hopefully) final 100 words
    Write my conclusions
    Reference / bibliography
Photo for bay of e (didn't get done and i want stuff moved)
list 2 items bay of e
    check back here

Then read through the entire assignment to re-check before sending

Does that sound like a plan ? Really, really hope i pass

Oh Dear! bay of e seems to be getting nudged back :o

Ok, i edited beyond the 100 words thought fab! I'll throw in my conclusion :o and what do i find yep! I've gone over the word count again!!! Arrrggh! :rotfl: Don't worry folks a quick wiggle around with it and i literally scraped in on the word count phew!

I have popped on my references folks so thats all done. I think now is time to:-

    Wash the pots
Move the washing that i dried earlier
    shower-time
    a drink
read through to make sure no daft continuity errors / spelling mistakes etc. with all that cutting and pasting :o and then submit!!!
Then bay of e - i need the money and the stuff gone!

Positive vibes please people - remember the terrible piece of work i handed in last week - this is far worse :o

  • I'm baaaack!!! i have a cold drink  which i feel is well deserved!! All to do again tomorrow  Well, not quite i've just got so much to do - must find that list i put on here in the hopes i wouldn't miss anything :o

Bed is mostly accessible but still a few pairs of shoes and dryed clothes to move - better do it before i get into bed :rotfl:

I've got 3 pairs of shoes to make a decision on tomorrow - can't after my shower as i've applied my foot lotion. Still it'll give me something to list tomorrow if needs be :)

I need to breathe first of all after submitting that piece of work :rotfl: Tax return is a priority too  and NVQ stuff  and e-mailing tutor about the next assignment

But i *need* to earn extra money - january has been taken over with assignment stuff which is the priority *but* i absolutely have to list the house jobs and find some things to list on the bay of e to make the money to pay for it :o

Thank you so much for popping in on me and the support everyone xx
