URGENT. Does anyone know any insurance company that insures impounded cars?

I realise this is too late for the OP but without getting into arguements about what, why and where concerning the insurance, surely a simple solution to the problem would be to SORN the vehicle and then turn up with a trailer to tow it away on.
The vehicle will then not be driven on the road or indeed be "on the road" and so therefore does not require insurance.0 -

I can really see that working.

Sadly they require to insure the vehicle said it doesn't come back on the road without insurance.0 -

Absolutely.
If you have trouble sleeping try reading The Police (Retention and Disposal of Motor Vehicles) Regulations, which covers everything. We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
The earth needs us for nothing.
The earth does not belong to us.

Get somebody who has a lowrider to collect your car. If you contact somebody who has one, they are likely to have come across this issue before. Most people unless they have been there don't get what you mean by needing this specific thing on the policy. You end up going round in circles to sort the issue. I hired somebody with a low-rider. The car when it was impounded would have been picked up and towed on a low-rider to the pound for the same reason (if car is not insured, legally it cannot be on the road at all). This takes away that problem. Normally you will have to have a form (the ticket given by police when you were stopped) signed at the police station and then take that with you to the pound. If the police have signed this then they pound will release the car. So you may have to take the low-rider driver with you to the station, so you will need to make this clear when you hire somebody.0
