ooooh i have been a bit awol - not been kidnapped honestly LOL!

If i'm honest i've been feeling overwhelmed again :( however thanks to writing a lot of the issues out on my Simple living and recovery from depression blog and working through them i think i'm feeling a bit less overwhelmed and just generally tired now. Planning on going to bed in about half an hour to read some of my book and hopefully relax myself.

Have managed to do some big positives today:

worked through the issues as mentioned and hopefully have settled myself a bit

listed 3 more items on ebay

done a 3 month analysis of ebay selling on many ways to make cash blog

arranged several viewings of the caravan in the quest to sell it

ate a healthy dinner of salad stuff

worked out my finances for the next few weeks - lots of big things to pay so need almost £1400 for them. Thankfully i have a lot of it covered and i'm just £264 short - plan in place to get this covered too.

Changed a few bits on my ebay shop to help have a consistent presence online - now blog, ebay shop, ebay ID and facebook page all match.

Took photos of items to add to ebay/facebook and blog - which i plan to do tomorrow

Talked to my lovely man who is probably going to have to have another operation - this will be the 3rd

Talked to my mum re some account issues - some transactions on her account don't match those in paypal account so been trying to work out what is going on there.

Checked my savings account and sorted out access - i'd forgotten my password.

Now i just need to check if my psych appointment is tomorrow before going to bed!

Night Night, hope you sleep well and tomorrow is a good one for us all :)

    xxxx

Ruby - well done on ringing people about your accounts - i know its not easy to lift the phone sometimes but it really helped me to actually speak to people who as you say were actually much easier to talk to than i had expected! I hope you are feeling a bit less anxious about the whole thing. In a month or so once you get to grips with the payments and the letters stop etc you will know its going in the right direction :) xx

  • Hi everyone,

Decided I officially hate Tuesdays..... it's a rare Tuesday that I get through without something crappy happening!!

Firstly I had an email from CAP asking me to contact them about my account - nothing else, which really panicked me - so I sneaked off at work and called them. Turns out that they've had a couple of late payments go through on my FD credit card, so wanted to check I'm not still using it; I'm not and couldn't even if I wanted to as FD stopped the card and bank account when I called them! Then got home to find a default notice from Tesco Bank stating that I need to pay them £17 ASAP. I've just phoned them and it's because although they are aware of my DMP, the default notice is issued automatically; I could pay the £17 now but then next month I would only get another default notice unless I can pay the full amount owed (around £84), so I'm assuming that £17 is the difference between my monthly payment and what CAP have offered them.

Phew. And BREATHE. I don't think it's worth scraping together an extra £17 per month to avoid a default notice on one credit card when the other four are defaulting anyway, but will see what CAP advise tomorrow..... the bad part of me thought "but I could then keep that card for emergencies!" but you'll be pleased to hear that the MSE part of me came back with "NO MORE CREDIT CARDS" :A

So I'm feeling a bit calmer now and doing boring things like cooking lunches and sorting out washing before heading off to job no 2. I fully intend to have a big Action Plan for next week whereby I manage to fit all this AND some exercise in, but don't want to do a big shop just before going away for a few days!

How has everyone's Tuesday been? Less evil than mine I hope?! Fairy - I am still in awe of your powers of list-making and actually following stuff up, that's clearly where mine are going wrong!! xx
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j

Aw no its been a Ruby Tuesday!!! Sorry to hear its been dodgy again - next week will be fine you wait and see ;)

Well done on sorting things again - you do sound a bit less panicked by these things which is great :) and HUGE WELL DONE on the MSE side kicking in to your brain re keeping one credit card - it doesn't work that way anyway cos the defaults on your account from other cards will mean it gets cancelled. You are completely right about no point in saving one card from defaulting when others are - the way i looked at it was i have defaults on my accounts but they all show at the same time and since then i have kept to my agreements and actually now cleared all but 1 of my debts - £1000 and i will be debt free :D - to anyone looking at my credit history it will be obvious that i had a bit of a blip but managed to get on top of it with a little bit of help from arrangements to pay etc. I have even managed to get a new credit card now with a really small credit limit which i am using only to rebuild my credit......so despite the DMP and 14 defaults i had i am no longer considered un-credit worthy :)

lol re my listmaking and follow up :) i have been working on it a very long time to stop the procrastination at least a bit - i still have lots of what i call rollies (when i roll my list on to the next day) but i do try to earn some smilies by ticking things off :)

My Tuesday has been ok, feeling a bit less anxious about the house and caravan and car and and and and........lol. Trying to get on top of ebay sales mostly and had my psych appointment which was fine too :) xxxx

:j Horaaaaay about the caravan, its a good time of year to be selling. Bad news that you have to move all the stuff again though, tee hee :p
PS whenever you write lodge carboot money I always imagine you 'lodging' it under a stone or the mattress or something silly like that, I know that's not what you mean but for some reason I can't think of that word meaning anything else at first when I read it :D
LOL you are soooooo right about the panic tidying :P it did get done and i even hoovered :D

Great stuff!I always make promises to keep things tidy but it seems that I like to let things get messy and do a big tidy, its not great but MAN is it satisfying when I clear it up :)

    Hello all,

Firstly Fairy, 6 blogs???? I can barely keep up with my Harley one let alone any more. I keep saying I'll update it but we're really busy at work and my laptop at home has keyboard issues due to Harley knocking a bowl of water over it (long story) but basically z x m / and a few others don't work like they oughta!

I really need to get back into stepping (I'm sure my last post said that too :rotfl:) as all I'm doing at the mo is the usual daily chores and defleaing cats still!

I'm on the overtime slot this week so will get back into it come Monday, I promise!:o

i know 6 blogs is a bit crazy lol! i just have things that i like to write about which don't really overlap so i want to keep them separate - though my crazy person blog and my simple living and recovery from depression ones don't really need to be separate as such.......i don't write them all at the same time either - more of a when i feel like it thing mostly :) Oh and i have deleted 2 other ones i was writing hahahahaha :P
