  • Well after the rain and thunder and lightning yesterday the sun is shining once again here today. I am having a day out with OH today - we are using the membership of Historic Scotland he got for his birthday and going to visit a few local castles/stately homes today.

I have also been drafted in by my sister to take her 4yo (Emma) to swimming lessons this afternoon. I am looking forward to that as I love spending time with Emma.

    Hello all,

I have been reading but not do much stepping unless it involves killing fleas! We seem to be infested again. Kitten has them everyday though none of the others have and despite constant vaccing and spraying they keep appearing on him!

Tonight I shall once again be de-fleaing kitten and flea spraying the house. We're moving furniture around in the lounge tonight so I'll be able to get into every little nook and cranny with the spray!

  • Hi everyone, hope you are all doing ok for a Monday!!

It's been a while since I've posted as I'm currently working evenings & weekends to make some extra money :( the joys of skintness eh..... I went to a wedding on Saturday so didn't spend any money that day, drove home so I didn't have to buy any drinks or pay for a taxi. A shame really as it was the closest wedding to home I've been to in a long old while, but needs must.

Fairy - thank you so much for your advice - I rang up all my creditors and explained what was happening. Irritatingly most of them told me they knew already and to disregard their correspondence (so why send it?!) but I guess it shows willing on my part. To give them their due the debt collection departments have been generally extremely kind and helpful on the phone, a distinct difference to the tone of their letters!

Anyhow, I feel like I have let things slip somewhat with my work eating into my planning time, and I'm away this weekend too (but not paying for it, hurrah!!) so when I get back I will be positive stepping with intent :) I'm looking forward to my holiday but also to getting back to a routine when I can cook, exercise, do housework etc with a bit more organisation.

Wishing you all a very positive week! xx
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j
