Well done on the weight loss Emma :) and on getting everything done yesterday!

I'm feeling really overwhelmed at the minute too - last night i figured out its just the number of things looming over me at the minute - i wrote them all down with a mini action plan for each.

    The list is:

    Move the caravan

    - needs emptied - almost done!
    - tyres need let down to get it out
    - not sure where am moving it to
    -could possibly sell it

    Pay car tax

    - need to find insurance cert
    - need to check amount
    - need to get money sorted for this
    - need to complete forms
    - need to go to post office

    House Viewing

    - check when estate agents open again
    - find out about paddock
    - arrange viewing
    - get OH to go with me to view
    - need deposit if taking
    - inform landlord of moving if taking

Clearing out the house of clutter

    - sort ebay listings so have listed things in one place - done :)
    - buy bookcase
    - sort a magic box for selling stuff
    - sort car boot boxes - started
    - check forecast for next week

    arrange to meet friend

    - check her rota
    - try to combine with other trip

    Get rid of fish

    - get photos of them added to gumtree
    - ring fish shop
    - list on facebook

    Clear Last debt

    - contact early next week to check acceptance of amount
    - sort £800 to pay it

    Solicitor

    - contact about update

    Get car fixed

    - sort diagram
    - book into garage
    - sort money to pay it

    sort rates

    - complete form & post
    - sort money to pay

    Empty Car

    - sort space in house to move stuff to
    - repack with car boot boxes

    Ring Dad

    - just ring him! lol

    Collect stuff N'ards

    - contact to arrange when suits
    - arrange around other trip
    - try to agree to meet somewhere rather than me drive all the way

    Finances

check total needed and total saved/income expected
check timescales and plan which priority they need paid

Obviously thats not all to do today lol! Will see how i get on with the list by the end of the month :) Some things can't wait until later than that but its good to have them written down.

Hi Fairy, so glad you are feeling better after your brilliant steppy list. I really like breaking things into stages as it really helps and doesn't feel too overwhelming so I think I will follow your lead on that :D

Emmaglet so glad you enjoyed the walk, walking is a brilliant way to burn calories with what feels like little effort :)

I've just joined my fitness pal, its brilliant and I think its really going to help me. I am a very active person but I need to drop about a stone as I hold a big spare tyre round my middle which is really disproportionate to my shape so I would like to tone up and lose the fat.
I highly reccommend it if you guys wanbt to sign up you can add me on there, PM me for my username :p and we can support each other to our weightloss goals!! :T

  • Well done Fairy on a great list :) I have the same problem where I can't see the wood for the trees - I hope it's helped you make some progress!

Suzi, my fitness plan list is more on Excel as I still haven't got to grips with My Fitness Pal - is it easy to use? Am I being a bit dim?!

Tomorrow's positive step is sending on yet more paperwork to CAP Money... Sigh. I've had two credit card payment reminders so I'm not sure if those banks haven't had the CAP letter yet, haven't processed it or are just being hopeful that I'll make the usual payment regardless!
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j

I find it quite easy to use but I have the app on my phone which might be easier. You can search for the foods you want to add rather than doing it yourself which is what I do, otherwise yes it could be really tricky. I like the fact that your friends can spy on what you are doing, motivates me more.

I have lots of stepping to do today, I'm on a day off until 5pm when I leave to go and teach my classes :-D
I'm meeting a friend for lunch in town so I will write what I want to get stepped before then:
Upload music from ZIN cds to computer-DONE
Cook off beetroot and pickle (bought this from the market last week for 50p, got about 8 of them for that!) -DONE
    call b-card-DONE
Call gym about pay-DONE but still waiting for them to get back to me...
    Call back class enquirey-DONE
    Pay cheque in-DONE
Email my cousin recipes she asked for DONE

Right must crack on, still lots to do TTFN :D
    Don't turn a slip up into a give up:D

Hello guys, lovely to see you all back - i was feeling lonely :o:rotfl:

I have made some good progress on the big list:

Caravan - now emptied, just need to figure out what to do with it now. I am going to go look at another house this week hopefully so its a bit in limbo until then.

Car Tax - checked the cost (£280) and set some money aside for this. £223 so far - need another £57 and then i'm ready to go pay it - seems a lot more manageable now :) Still to sort out other docs needed.

House Viewing - phoning tomorrow as bank holiday today

De Cluttering - good bit done and gone as been to two car boots :) some more ebay listing to do and some more sorting as well.

Meeting friend - been in touch and hopefully something sorted but dependent on car boots

Get rid of fish - added photos etc, still to contact shop

Collect Stuff - arranged when to do this :)

Other stuff still to work on but feeling A LOT better :)

tonight i'm going to take it easy as been booting all day and kinda tired - must water the plants before they shrivel up any more so will relax and do that and nothing much more :) xxxx

    Hello all,

Got the afternoon off so going to take the dog for a long walk but also need to do a few things before/after.

Hubby's been talking about switching broadband to BT and Quidco have a fab cashback offer on at the mo, so that's top on the list of things to do.

Also need to book spa day with friend, already bought the voucher.

House needs vaccing top to bottom - 5 cats and a visiting dog is taking it's toll.

Sort out freezer as it's jammed packed full but with what I have no idea!

Also want to update Harley's blog but need to upload pics onto laptop first.

    Happy stepping xxx
