  • Sorry to hear you had the storms there Minnie, I hope everything is ok! It's been very cold where I am but thankfully not too windy. I've got the day off work to start my packing & the rubbish storage heaters are only just taking the chill out of the air in my flat :(

It was going to be a very productive day today, but somehow I don't seem to have achieved everything!! Taking a break for a hot chocolate and to say hello to my fellow steppers :)

Next I think will be to either go through the wardrobe to do a charity shop bag, or to tidy out the cupboard. Neither sounds appealing, but both have to be done if I'm to crack this moving without having a big panic at the end.....

    Happy Friday everyone! xxx
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j

Having a bit of an ebay blitz at the moment! I find I'm either really into it, or get discouraged for a while and do nothing!!

Good evening, Today has been a rather busy day. So far today I have been to college, collected the kids from school and childminders and also went to the Christmas Fayre at the school.

Luckily not that much damage was done by the stormy weather just a lot of rubbish in the garden, which I will tidy up over the weekend.

    Small steps for tonight
Get Nectar adpoints up to date:)
    Do some course work
Find out what days dh is off during the holiday week (try not to make it into an arguement):) (Think I have done this but he needs to check his days)
Do Msing work that is in for today

    Rollies
Finish putting lining paper up in ds1's bedroom
Get course work up to date
Make a list of xmas things that I still need to get, sort out
Check the airer and move to ironing mountain
Make a list for xmas cards and find addresses
Do course work that is in for Thursday
    Find paperwork for the car
    Write 4 articles for client
Look online and get a list of local boot sales
Spend 30 minutes sorting out paperwork
  • Wow been ages since i posted last.
    Everyone's christmas present is brought for;
I have £13 to pay for my sisters last present and
a pair of socks to get then that's it.

    I've done:
My reasearch task - handed in last week
Got my glasses tightened and changed some parts of them so they fit batter.
    Wrapped up some more presents
    started on my other assignments

    I need to:
*sort through the endless rubbish on my desk as my parents brought me a new desk for christmas but I am having it early
    * Make my bed
    * Tidy my make up desk
    * Tidy junk around my room
    * sweep & "mop" up (basically ; use anti bac wipes) my floor

    Hi peeps!

    My steps for today are;

Write and post Christmas cards -DONE
    Organize bill folder DONE
Ebay ebay ebay (It's a free listing weekend!) DONE
    Quick clean round DONE
Quick trip to Mr T's DONE

About the Christmas cards - it will only be a few because of the postage:eek: It's such a shame because I used to send loads and loved to receive them - now it will be a few special folks who live a distance away and that I don't see very often - prob less than 12. Everyone else seems to have cut back as well so it's ok.

Ebay - as I mentioned yesterday I'm into this at the moment and have just read it's a free listing w/e so even better!!!

Have a lovely day everyone xx

Oh no - I've got a real sleepy Sunday afternoon feeling! I had a nice cuppa and a mince pie after lunch and I think that's what's done it! :o

Think I may give in to it for a little while, and will feel more productive later on. Did list another ebay item, and checked my sales - another 2 items sold:j

    Wake me up later LOL!!!

    2. Order main presents for the kids:)
    3. Defrost freezer:)
    4. Order hampers:)
    5. Attend college:)
    6. Do course work that is in for today
    7. Do paid work:)
    8. Do MSing work that is in for today:)
    9. Take ds2 for his vaccinations:)
    10. Write xmas cards

  • hi Minniemousesmummy, hope all goes well for your tests and mri scan - thinking of you.

I took a huge step yesterday - I registered with Stepchange and feel so much better for having done so. Have given them almost all of the required info, and they are calling me again next Monday.

I should have done it a long time ago, I don't know why I didn't - I've always tried to soldier on.......too independent for my own good.
