    Good morning,

    Today I will:

Finish putting lining paper up in ds1's bedroom
    Attend college:)
Get course work up to date
    Do homework for Tuesday:)
Check postcode lottery & birthday bingo:)
    Hoover the house
Go into town - get dd's main present, advent calendar (I forgot to get them before), santa hats and xmas cards:)
Sort though my clothing drawers and remove anything that is no longer wanted
Write 3 articles for client - 2 out of 3 done
Sort out ds2's clothes (I need to make more space for his clothes)
Make a list of xmas things that I still need to get, sort out
Check the airer and move to ironing mountain

I think that is enough for today, if I get these things done I will be happy

Suzi jimjammers have arrived :D thanks so much they will be fab for the quilt!!!

I am getting some good feedback from the positive steps blog now :) am loving the fact its getting more of an audience too on the web!! :D I'm stepping my way to a positive world lol!! I'm going to sort a domain name etc for it now and start working around that and my simple living blog to hopefully build up a MH resource type site.....

    anyway, steps for today are:

Tidy up downstairs - its been tidied well a few days ago so a quick 30mins tidy will do it
Ask OH to help me move bookcase that has been sitting in the hallway for over a month waiting to go upstairs
    post parcels - done :)
    take photos of oil burners
add 5 new things to online selling sites
test out the buy now option for my selling cafe blog
give out some selling cafe leaflets
call into craft shop with new products

  • Hi everyone,

Lovely to see you all so positive in the run up to Christmas :j

No positive steps for me today as such, just a ramble through my train of thought.....

Firstly, although the caravan is nice as caravans go, I'm still apprehensive about moving in!! As much as my OH says "it's not like you'll be there anyway", I'm finally realising how much I'll miss my little flat :( I keep looking around and thinking of things I won't be able to do any more, aarrrggghhhh! Even last night when I was pottering around doing the ironing, that made me sad too.

So, big scary step for me, I felt like I was really getting back some independence by moving here (after disastrous flat share before) and even though moving again does make sense in a lot of ways, I still can't quite get my head round not being here in a few weeks' time. But it will save me a lot of money, so on the bright side.....

And before I move I have to PACK and I really must sort out my paperwork, it is the bane of my life!!

I'm also getting really desperate to lose a bit of weight; I know I have all the support I need on this website without spending a ton of cash :D but am struggling to stick with it. I might talk to my OH about how we can do this best as he wants to lose some lb's too, maybe a reward chart or something?!

Right, that's it from me, not technically positive steps but I feel more positive for saying hello and writing all that down!! Hope everyone has had a good Monday xxx
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j

    Hi fellow steppers!
Best thing that happened today was getting an agreement from E-on to extra time to clear an outstanding balance I have with them.

This gives me peace of mind for over Christmas and January. I know I need to deal with this though so all effort to this.....

Then I will be able to look at switching providers :-)

Rubyits always hard to leave a place you have enjoyed and especially if you don't want to go really BUT remember its only temporary if you want it to be - once you get your debts sorted you will be free to do what you like. I'm sure you have things going round your head about the relationship too - its only natural - this could be the start of a whole new chapter in your life though. Try not to let previous experiences taint things that are happening now ;) xxx

    Steppy steps for me today:

tidying downstairs - did this then emptied car into living room :( car boot stuff everywhere right now lol!!
pay phone bill - done :)
    empty car - done :)
    ring AA
get more stuff online to sell - couple of things added :)
keep fingers crossed my wool arrives today - have an Aran Jumper to knit for Christmas (order). Not even marked as dispatched yet so messaged the seller.
Sort a new post for blog for one of my sellers

Thats it for now :P wish me luck....
