Last night I managed to pull down my stop gap jeans without undoing them :j
Soooo happy, cos they weren't particularly nice anyway (literally bought them cos the only pair that had fitted developed a hole!) So hopefully I can go back to the slightly smaller ones completely now...Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

Thats great livinginhope! Well done
I have been very bad this last couple of weeks. Only been to gym a couple of times and eaten far too much chocolate! Jeans are feeling tight so its back to the salads0 -
SPLASH!bubbleubbleubble... That's me taking the plunge. I've dipped in and out of here a few times and thought oo just what I need. Then, I've thought "!!!!!! you are an adult who knows the Equation - too much energy in + no exercise = f*t b******!! Give your head a shake and deal with it!" That has been a recurring theme for the past year and so, with nothing to lose (well, loads actually!), I have returned - can i join in please??
Actually I had a dfw epiphany this week when walked into Rosemary Conley clutching a £10 FREE MEMBERSHIP voucher and thinking it's fate! I even got thru the door and whilst waiting for previous class to finish, I read the price list - £5.25  to be weighed / ritually humiliated then make the usual excuses like "It's that time of the month!" "What? 3 weeks out of 4?" being the stern reply...Then I get to play sardines with 60 others in a tiny hall. Id get more exercise pushing my trolley round the sweety aisle at Tesco. That's my excuse...The upshot being I didnt fill in the DD form! I did not sign up! I saved money! I did not dust off one of the dusty aerobics dvds on my shelf!
Anyway, I appear to be babbling (low-fat wine always gets me like this!) so I'll shut up now...
First an appeal to livinginhope - for she has inspired me to post tonight. As I've looked in , I have noticed your weight loss increasing. Today you are at 47 lbs in how many weeks??? :T Please let me know how you've done it?!?
I promise to keep it short in future...:o
Good luck all0 -
Have no car at mo so did lots more walking than normal.
Diet went a bit 'hay wire' in the middle of the day but didnt eat as much tonight and am just here with my iced water instead of toast with butter, coffee with sugar.
I havent told anyone i am 'dieting' but three people have said i look like i have lost weight.
Can i imagine being a size 16 and debt free..........................that would be AMAZING.... i would then of course have to save for new clothes.
BUT hey normal size clothes are cheaper than plus size another incentive to diet and do DFW. Brilliant threadDebt free May 2016 (without the support of MSE forum users that would never have been possible - thank you all)0 -
Lost another pound this week!! yay!!0
