Wouldn't it be so much easier if we had our own personal cooks....(sigh)

Well here I am again. I gotta get back on it as I am having my civil partnership in about 6 weeks so I don't want to 'go down the aisle' with extra baggage!

So back on Weight Watchers (again) and weighed in at 10st 1.5lbs (eek!) and ideally would like to be 8st 7lbs but realise that this won't be achieved in 6 weeks :)

I have stepped up my exercise again after being knocked off my bike in November of last year so am presently doing martial arts for an hour on Tuesday & Thursday and swimming for an hour on Wednesday. Over the weekend I want to do a run each day so will start off with doing a mile each time - not much compared to what I was doing before but hey.

The biggest single thing that will make a difference though is alcohol so I have to cut that right back and make it work within my 18 points a day Weight Watchers allowance. I am only allowing myself to drink at weekends (well Friday and Saturday) and I have stuck to this for 2 weeks which is a small miracle for me!

OK wish me luck. Gosh I feel so much better writing this down.

    Good luck to everyone else!

    :)

    try https://www.runningahead.com/tools/map

its a tool which allows you to plot a route and then tells your distance / elevation profile etc. i've checked the accuracy of measurements and they agree with my car milometer.

What is the code for England or is it Great Britain or is it United Kingdom?

I've decided to join you for a bit of support! I've got 10.5 pounds to lose. Had a baby 15months ago and lost most of the weight then since Christmas I've started to put it on again-can't use Ben as an excuse now just my own greediness! I'm going on hols on the 22nd June and could really do with losing about 8 pounds before then and toning up so am on a mission. I've been doing a couple of days detox on fruit to start off then will do weightwatcher. Have been to the gym as well so starting out well!

I just enter 'Leeds' and then GBR on the drop down list and it zooms straight to the city centre :D

No, you will be doing so much walking around that you will keep it off.

And anyway, what are holidays for if not for a little indulgence?

When I went to Devon last year, I was an absolute martyr to WW - the only icecream I had was a Solero (1pt), I didn't have cream teas, had a skinny latte instead (0.5pt), was the designated driver so no wine (0pts) - getting the picture so far.....

So sure was I that I must have lost weight that I went to WW in Ilfracombe. Bloody stupid idea that was - she told me I had put on 2lbs. Spoilt my holiday and I vowed never to think "diet" on any holiday ever again!!

    Indulge and enjoy x
