Have just waved the kids off with my Dad - relatively stress free this morning as all the clothes were drying on the radiator! Only a minor panic looking for a pair of socks. Off to work in a minute until 6pm and then pick kids up on the way home. On my lunch I am going to book my GTT test and rearrange my anaethetist appt and that's two things off my list.

I will put a wash on as soon as I get home too. Organised me! xx

  • morning,

so i figured starting with a list was the best way, today i will ...
    • find and reply to the party invitations dd2 received at the end of term
    • continue trying to deal with the washing mountain, 3 loads washed & dried yesterday but just in a big pile on the utility worktop, 2 more baskets still full to the top with dirty washing
    • help dd2 to put away her xmas toys
    • 'encourage' dd1 to revise - this will be everyday as she is not very inclined to work!
    • find next years calander & fill in info for january
    • take plastic recycling to the tip, got 2 boxes of it now!
started to do a bit of research yesterday on the flylady and organised mum sites after they'd been mentioned on here so will continue to look at them & try to get a proper plan before going back to work in the new year.

  • Morning,

My plan for today is to pop to the shops and get some cards and wrapping paper, once home make a list of all cards received this year and put with purchased cards. I have what seems like a million plastic boxes in the loft so will fing one and label on the 4 sides what is in there, so easier to find next year. The loft is a major job on my to do, it just need sorting and organising.

I am going to meal plan and book a colection from tesco for next week will do this for errand day, town post office etcmother wise I find myself popping to town everyother day just need to organise myself.

I dont have a problem with list making infact I am very good at makin lists just nkg doing anything on them. My son gave me lovely note book for christmas so that will be used.

At least if I share on here what my daily goals are i sill have tk do them as i dont like to admit failure!

    Have a good day everybody,
  • Afternoon!

My plan for today is to clear out our bedroom, there are clothes all over the floor and I have left a snail trail as my oh calls it. We have a crib in our room but our 4 1/2 month old has moved into her big girl cot in her own bedroom so need to find a home for it, also going to change the sheets
  • Plan for today, well tonight is to make a start on clearing out my 2 younger boys clothes, should have relative peace as they are both away to stay with there gran so i can get rid of things they want to cling onto. also hoping to make a list of what i have in my cupboards and see what i need, really need to get back into the swing of planning my dinners and hopefully will spend less at the supermarket

  • I've been to the pound shop and bought a dozen large plastic storage boxes to sort the kids toys into. They can use them to keep toys in their room tidy and reduce the number cluttering up the downstairs. However, I forgot to take the box of books to oxfam :-)

    More for the list

    1./ kids thank you letters

2./ preschool admin work - I'm chair of the committee, obviously in lieu of some heinous crimes in a former life and I need to write to all the parents increasing the fees from feb half term.

My dad came to visit our new baby today so I didn't get as much done as I'd like, but he did take me and kids out for lunch while OH did some decorating which was lovely. And I've bought wool for my first handmade present of the year, fingerless crochet gloves for a friend for 4th Jan, so need to get a hop on as they need to be posted to Devon.

    Tiny steps...

I'm Chair of a Pre-school too!!!! I have some work to do but it can wait till next week. We are expecting Ofsted anytime soon so this last term I've been snowed under.....we are ready....I think!!!!

Today I have done three loads of washing, cleaned and tidied through downstairs and got DS1 some school shoes (John Lewis didn't have any in his size yesterday!!)

My SIL has just come for a few days, which means DH and I get a rest......the kids worship her and she'll get up and start playing games with them at ungodly hours!!!! Funnily enough, she doesn't have any kids of her own, so she doesn't mind ours being so full on when she's here!!!!

Takeaway for us tonight so minimal washing up! I will do the ironing tomorrow some time, also need to go shopping for some meat and fresh stuff, but have a £4 off £40 for Tesco so will go there.

Hope everyone is having a productive day!!

We shall have to swap tips :-) good luck with Ofsted, our last one was 6 months late... Last Christmas so another 2 years before we have it again, and hopefully I will not be chair by then. I also wouldn't be doing work this week except it has to go out by the end of the month.

My drawer organisers have arrived as well so I can make a start on my overflowing underwear drawer. Most needs chucking, to be honest, holey socks and grey bras with no elastic, very enticing!
