    Hi mary
No, I wouldnt send them the statements but just the copy schedule. Update the schedule first of all to show the amount of interest up till today's date and tell them that you want interest until the date of repayment by First Trust.
    good luck

Hi i filled in online claim on nicourts small claims on line but yesterday got papers back saying unable to process until matters attended to.

The bank Natwest is in England so they say
    1 it will take longer
2 if sucessful i would have to enforce it through procedures in england and wales
3 i could take action in england

has anyone else seen this scenario and should i just sighn to proceed here.

Tahnks for any guidance in advance

I would put your claim to the Financial Ombudsman due to the amount you are claiming, please read Martin's update in his article regarding using the FO.

    please help

has anyone been successful in reclaiming charges from first trust bank in northern ireland. i have asked for £3431.00 plus £706.30 interest. they have refused and it is now with financial ombudsman from start of june. i spoke to FO on 11 july and they said they are expecting reply from bank within 7-10 days(apparently the bank have told them this!!!!)

what do you think my chances are if any of getting full money back?

getting desperate as waiting from january!!!!!

Hi have had a offer from the Northern from my local branch claimed 1536.00 offered 768.00 Sent 2nd letter received letter from head office Belfast Branch signed Nula Walsh asking for 20 days to investigating the claim
Will issue small court claim if no response after the time laid down in the 2nd letter. What words do you use to describe details of my claim ( business claim ) on court form?

I'm not sure if you have had this answered but all you need to do is ask the court to send you the certificate that you need to sign and then they can process it through our system.

The Northern Ireland courts are allowing an additional 2 weeks on top of the normal 4 that banks get to reply. If it were me I would ask for the cert, sign and return but its your call.

Just received 3rd letter from bank one day after the last one this time they are offering me 1487.00 a big increase on 768.00 I had claimed 1536.00 before interest. I have to sign a receipt saying I will not claim against the Northern bank again. Problem I claimed back 6 yrs for this one but was going to submit another claim for the previous 3yrs which amounts to 1000.00 before interest. Need advise.
