Sell them now while it is still cold. I bought a pair from the Kurt Geiger sale ages ago and wore them once and wasn't fussed, I got more than I paid for them on ebay.:D
Thinking of Kurt Geiger. I order a pair of Ugg gloves for £9 yesterday and they were delivered today. They are on the website for £29 but I used one of the £20 GQ giftcards. I did not think it would take it off these but it did.0 -

I am getting much better at my driving now, I can drive to work, 2 Asdas, 2 Tescos, 2 retail parks and the town centre. I actually parked on the 2nd floor of a multistorey car park in town today. I had palpatations going in and coming out but I did it!!!!!!!!!!0

Ok I promised myself a new pair of boots after xmas (well hubby said before xmas he would get them so I am getting them and he is paying
)
I am going to go for uggs but seeing some of the earlier comments about size I wanted to ask about ordering online. I am normally a size 5 shoe but would buy ordinary boots in 5.5.
Can anyone advise me re uggs for size. Please
TIASmileand hopefully the world will smile back

I went to our new Morrisons today and noticed they have jobs going in the cash office. I worked in banking and accounting for the last 30 odd years so though ok I will apply.
Filling in the forms now and noticed if you get to interview stage they do CRB check ( which will be fine ) and a credit check.
Due to problems before OH and I split my credit rating is shot. I have 2 ccj's with charging orders but I am slowly paying them. I no longer have any credit cards only debit cards or cash.
Do you think I may aswell not apply as it is a job dealing with cash my credit report will go against me?
why do they need a credit check that strange as its no bussines what money you got or what you pay or dont pay , cbr i can understand but not the other id phone and ask why thye want that . and id still appy hun you never know i go for it , well done you0 -
There, all caught up....
Had to have a day off as OH was discharged yesterday evening and he was in a terrible state.
He couldn't lift his feet, so I couldn't get him in the car, out again or sit on the sofa.
Tried to get him into bed and it was too low.
Sat up all night as he was full of anaesthetic and codeine and was groaning and talking.I was afraid he would try to move and split his stitches.
Today he is a lot better and is refusing all meds.
The wound has been bleeding and his torso is covered in blood, right down to his knees but I was told not to try to clean him up as he is so bruised and cannot bath/shower till tuesday, ugh!!
To top the lot he told me he had a bleed during the op, obvious now and that he got off the trolley in the recovery room to find the loo....there was nobody there and the man next to him started shouting.
So as yu can see I've got my work cut out !!!!
for those that like pain (men, look away), he had an inguinal scrotal hernia repair ouch.0 -
Morrisons take apgs ?
Its a new store only a month old. The senior SA said Oh we dont take these so I pointed out the large hanging sign by the tills. She was really nice and said thanks for pointing it out. As I have some APG to use and am not too near ASDA I am using them there. I dont know how long it will last taking APG so taking advantage while I can0 -
Sounds interesting, anything much dearer in tosco ?
