Good Evening Everyone and a belated Happy New Year.

Not been posting because I have been poorly over the holidays and so has my Mum, still feel rotten but a bit better.

I usually dry wombles on one of those anti slip mats for the dashboard as they don't stick while drying. you can buy it on a roll and cut to size. Or failing that put on an emply plastic shopping bag so they peel off once dry from the car heater!

I am looking for a case for my Kindle Fire ( not HD) - best I can see is on Ebay for £9.99. has anyone found a good one that they recommend ? Thanks

Have just been looking on Debenhams site at boots, they have some Ugg Type suede ones with embriodery that I like the look of £18 plus quidco (70% off) but can't make my mind up. Do I really need more boots???

Antislip mats sometimes found in Poundland.

Cheap rubbery Kindle Fire cases also in Poundland :D

Just hoping there are some good coupons in the new Tesco magazine.

When in T before getting the toilet roll I saw the new copy of Glamour magazine. So, that must have finished off the BS cards. :(

Thanks thats what I will do. I am not worried about being totally honest about it. I wish I had found MSE years ago and had not got any credit cards. Went to Morrisons with OH today and with an APG and a gift card ( OH got it when he complained about bad service in the new cafe) we got £22.00 worth of shopping for just over £2.00.
Quite excited about job prospect as it is 4 days a week from 7.00 to 11.00 a.m leaving plenty of time for glitching!

    Morrisons take apgs ?

All this talk of uggs, I bought a pair in October from Office when thy had the mad sale on. I paid £60 for them

I went with the advice given and went a size smaller. They sent a 5 but they're actually a 4 and murdered my feet when I wore them

So now they're sat upstairs in their box, all unloved and sad :(

I'm seriously thinking of selling them

I went to our new Morrisons today and noticed they have jobs going in the cash office. I worked in banking and accounting for the last 30 odd years so though ok I will apply.
Filling in the forms now and noticed if you get to interview stage they do CRB check ( which will be fine ) and a credit check.
Due to problems before OH and I split my credit rating is shot. I have 2 ccj's with charging orders but I am slowly paying them. I no longer have any credit cards only debit cards or cash.
Do you think I may aswell not apply as it is a job dealing with cash my credit report will go against me?

Wishing you luck, I would say apply anyway. I think it is wrong they do this, hubby has just had to have a full crb and credit check for a job driving the securicor money vans. He has an average credit rating and was fine - got the job.

I would have thought if someone was likely to steal then they wouldn't have credit problems.

I've been to your T's quite a few times but me,Qpranger & Nannylala had a hysterical trouting with 4p socks in there about six months ago;)We couldnt find the scanner so we left Nannylala with a trolley full of socks upstairs covered over with a dress:o and decided that me and QPR would put 6 different pairs through the SS to check the prices. All was going well until the SA put his hand on my shoulder (I'd paid) and said "Can I have a look at those socks please I know they are 4p" he also asked if their were any more and we sort of fibbed and said No;)He then went and got a tannoy announcement for the manager:eek::eek:He wrote down the B/C's and me and QPR legged it outside to the car leaving Nannylala upstairs with the trolley of socks:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: We snuck back in when he wasnt looking, ran up the travelator to Nannylala and went downstairs with the trolley and hid down an aisle till the SA disappeared and then all 3 of us scanned like mad and got them all through:T:T:T:rotfl::rotfl:Don't worry though, we have'nt been back since:o

Sell them now while it is still cold. I bought a pair from the Kurt Geiger sale ages ago and wore them once and wasn't fussed, I got more than I paid for them on ebay.:D

Evening peeps. Thanks for the info on the loo rolls in Mr T, will pop out tomorrow and have a look. Noticed the Nouvelle is also half price on the Co-op site at £2.55, was wondering if they may have some of the packs with 100% extra free too, just a thought.

Been toiling with the idea of getting a tablet with my Christmas money, had a look at in the Currys clearance store in Enfield yesterday (also have one in Manchester). Had a long chat to very knowledgeable sa, told him we already had a desktop and a laptop, but I wanted something for myself - he asked what I wanted to use it for. I said just surfing the net in front of the TV and printing coupons :rotfl:. He said that I'm not alone and lots of people have told him the same thing :rotfl:. Anyway, he recommended a netbook as they were the best for what I needed. It was an ex-display and only had a little scratch on the lid. Came with original box and a brand new battery. Apparently the price they sell their stock for is cost +10%, I paid £159.

The store also has 2 auctions each week, one at 6pm on a Wednesday and the other at 2pm on a Saturday. They've added my email to their dist list for 2 x weekly auction catalogues :)

Wish I lived near there, I kind of used to, until I was 16 I lived in Wood Green.

The last auction me and my mum went to many years ago was a rip off one, we get well and truly done like kippers. But we didn't lose a lot and nearly wet ourselves laughing on the bus on the way home.:o:o
