Good evening everybody I hope you are well. I have been to a local Mr S today and the Christmas puddings are on sale for 75p(%70 off) Sell by date March 2014. They also had the mincemeat that was mentioned earlier for 15p.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

Did we used to have to show the receipt with the PP? I have always kept mine together but my yesterday my OH noticed thatit doesn't say anything about needing the receipt on the PP voucher. I've probably just got mixed up with A's, I still need those receipts with the APGs don't I?

With T's PP no receipt needed, but you do need it with the A's APG :)

You could still apply, but put all this information in the "any other information" part of the form, or attach another sheet of paper. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

Thanks thats what I will do. I am not worried about being totally honest about it. I wish I had found MSE years ago and had not got any credit cards. Went to Morrisons with OH today and with an APG and a gift card ( OH got it when he complained about bad service in the new cafe) we got £22.00 worth of shopping for just over £2.00.
Quite excited about job prospect as it is 4 days a week from 7.00 to 11.00 a.m leaving plenty of time for glitching!

I went to our new Morrisons today and noticed they have jobs going in the cash office. I worked in banking and accounting for the last 30 odd years so though ok I will apply.
Filling in the forms now and noticed if you get to interview stage they do CRB check ( which will be fine ) and a credit check.
Due to problems before OH and I split my credit rating is shot. I have 2 ccj's with charging orders but I am slowly paying them. I no longer have any credit cards only debit cards or cash.
Do you think I may aswell not apply as it is a job dealing with cash my credit report will go against me?

I don't think it should matter. When I managed a picture library, I did not ask my admin staff how good they were at taking pictures - it's irrelevant IMHO.

If you put it on the form, you are basically giving them a reason to reject you before the interview. Put something positive on there instead - how your previous experience professional or otherwise means you would be great at the job.

    GO FOR IT!

    Hello everyone.

Work still getting in the way of glitching.

Need to find a way of keeping up with you whilst on my travels.

Super duper bonus of the week, had to deliver 2 doors down from the pet shop :)
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

If the ccjs were from debt from your marriage you may be ok.
I work in a bank and one day a fairly new employee got escorted out.
It turned out it was his credit check, they took ages to process.
Anyhow, he appealled as it was from debt from his marriage and he was allowed back.

Good Evening Everyone and a belated Happy New Year.

Not been posting because I have been poorly over the holidays and so has my Mum, still feel rotten but a bit better.

I usually dry wombles on one of those anti slip mats for the dashboard as they don't stick while drying. you can buy it on a roll and cut to size. Or failing that put on an emply plastic shopping bag so they peel off once dry from the car heater!

I am looking for a case for my Kindle Fire ( not HD) - best I can see is on Ebay for £9.99. has anyone found a good one that they recommend ? Thanks

Have just been looking on Debenhams site at boots, they have some Ugg Type suede ones with embriodery that I like the look of £18 plus quidco (70% off) but can't make my mind up. Do I really need more boots???

    Evening Elite,

We have just been to T's to return some unwanted Xmas presents. OH is now firmly seated on the wombling bus - he zig zags across the car park to get to the door, then zig zags back to return to the car. We have never parked so far from a shop entrance. Couple of wombles. Told him he needs to work on looking less 'shifty'!

Plenty of the toilet roll in B'ly T's. Smiled a knowing smile at someone who was piling their trolley so  if you are on here. Don't think I will like it but OH said I can use the nice stuff and he will use that :p

Also went to the new T's not far away. About 5 wombles from there, but a real sight to be seen. By the self serve tills there are 3 plastic bins.....1/4 full of receipts! Our hearts stopped. The tills always have a floating SA so what do you do? We just stared at each other...all those homeless little wombles just wanting to be loved! I did consider dropping my bread rolls into the bin but thought better of it.

How do you all dry your wet wombles? I have mastered the crisp two at a time technique. Car blowers on full, one on each palm, face plam towards dryers. I have coined it the 'womble crisping technique' and it is coming in very useful in this prolonged super soggy weather. *Health and Safety warning* - do not try this if you are the driver.

me and o/h are :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and this is why little children are good to take with you my dd1 whos 4 always gets few out the bin by the ss tills with just recipts in most are only 2 iteams :rotfl: but some are bingo , that what me and her say if we get a voucher she loves it lol , :o if the sA looks at me i just say she likes to use them with her toy till:o or shall i take them off her they just look at me blankly or say no let her have them and thankfully she never says we want the vouchers lol , but i dnt often use ss unless i need to ;) as i know few sa who will but few coupons throu;)
