Evening peeps. Thanks for the info on the loo rolls in Mr T, will pop out tomorrow and have a look. Noticed the Nouvelle is also half price on the Co-op site at £2.55, was wondering if they may have some of the packs with 100% extra free too, just a thought.

Been toiling with the idea of getting a tablet with my Christmas money, had a look at in the Currys clearance store in Enfield yesterday (also have one in Manchester). Had a long chat to very knowledgeable sa, told him we already had a desktop and a laptop, but I wanted something for myself - he asked what I wanted to use it for. I said just surfing the net in front of the TV and printing coupons :rotfl:. He said that I'm not alone and lots of people have told him the same thing :rotfl:. Anyway, he recommended a netbook as they were the best for what I needed. It was an ex-display and only had a little scratch on the lid. Came with original box and a brand new battery. Apparently the price they sell their stock for is cost +10%, I paid £159.

The store also has 2 auctions each week, one at 6pm on a Wednesday and the other at 2pm on a Saturday. They've added my email to their dist list for 2 x weekly auction catalogues :)

I went to our new Morrisons today and noticed they have jobs going in the cash office. I worked in banking and accounting for the last 30 odd years so though ok I will apply.
Filling in the forms now and noticed if you get to interview stage they do CRB check ( which will be fine ) and a credit check.
Due to problems before OH and I split my credit rating is shot. I have 2 ccj's with charging orders but I am slowly paying them. I no longer have any credit cards only debit cards or cash.
Do you think I may aswell not apply as it is a job dealing with cash my credit report will go against me?

If I were you I'd still apply. It used to be only army and police I think that had to have their debt history clean but Morries would be struggling in some areas recruiting staff if they think everybody has a great credit history. You might get the chance to explain things at an interview but you've held down jobs in the financial sector before so I don't see why it would affect you. They can only say no.

    hi all,
spoke to ellejmorgan today. I did let her know that she was missed. she wanted to you know that she cares. She also said it was ok to let you know that she is in a lot of pain because of her crumbling discs. She has a lot of pain in her shoulders and neck too. Obviously this makes her quite depressed and she doesn't feel strong enough to be sociable. A consequence of the medication is that she needs to sleep a lot. She is also has three children.

I also got my cheapy xmas cards today. Also managed to pick up whoopsies are a cheap bingo night. I did manage a womble too.

of to cook a chicken stir fry now...

Rosie Please let elle know we are thinking about her - hope she feels better soon :)

I've been to your T's quite a few times but me,Qpranger & Nannylala had a hysterical trouting with 4p socks in there about six months ago;)We couldnt find the scanner so we left Nannylala with a trolley full of socks upstairs covered over with a dress:o and decided that me and QPR would put 6 different pairs through the SS to check the prices. All was going well until the SA put his hand on my shoulder (I'd paid) and said "Can I have a look at those socks please I know they are 4p" he also asked if their were any more and we sort of fibbed and said No;)He then went and got a tannoy announcement for the manager:eek::eek:He wrote down the B/C's and me and QPR legged it outside to the car leaving Nannylala upstairs with the trolley of socks:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: We snuck back in when he wasnt looking, ran up the travelator to Nannylala and went downstairs with the trolley and hid down an aisle till the SA disappeared and then all 3 of us scanned like mad and got them all through:T:T:T:rotfl::rotfl:Don't worry though, we have'nt been back since:o

Oh Nikki - I was sitting here visualising that happening - fab :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You could still apply, but put all this information in the "any other information" part of the form, or attach another sheet of paper. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

I recently got rid of one of these cars. I always offer them to family or friends at trade-in price (rather than trying to get a better price via ebay). Try webuyanycar and see how much they'd pay (and remember they'd charge for taking it off you) and ask around your work.

They can get it MOTed at the nearest council depot, who aren't interested in repairs so have no incentive to pad any bills with bad news.

Better than getting it scrapped IMHO) seeing as how half the lifetime energy cost of a car is getting the metal into the shape of a car in the first place. Remember to take out anything transferable like tax discs.

Tell you what -when you've sold a micra, you'll miss it!:(

in a few post before i was saying how much i love my micra and today when o/h reminded me and i phoned dad:o (hes a macanic by trade but dose another better payed job last few years but still dables with cars (his words:rotfl:)

anyway after i put phone down i cryed:o as dad told me i need new drive shaft he need to practicaly weld it back together:eek::eek: and most little thing culd do with replacing and 2 tyers -- i asked how he know with out looking lol he replys that when i visted over xmas he had a quick look at it and as i was blocking the drive and my brother culdnt get out he had to move it ti sounded bit funny so took it for spin (he is insured on it most my family is :rotfl::rotfl:) i was :eek: that i dint notice lol

i love the car and would buy another but my o/h and dad say i shuld have my o/h car and my o/h get run around for work as he only works about 3 miles away from home , so my car is going to my dad as a dable :rotfl: and hes goign to give me £100 (he bought it lol) i did tell him not to but he say spend it on kids or put towards house . my parents rock , as my mum says i must have safe car lol
