    Evening Elite,

    We have just been to T's to return some unwanted Xmas presents. OH is now firmly seated on the wombling bus - he zig zags across the car park to get to the door, then zig zags back to return to the car. We have never parked so far from a shop entrance. Couple of wombles. Told him he needs to work on looking less 'shifty'!

    Plenty of the toilet roll in B'ly T's. Smiled a knowing smile at someone who was piling their trolley so :smiley: if you are on here. Don't think I will like it but OH said I can use the nice stuff and he will use that :p

    Also went to the new T's not far away. About 5 wombles from there, but a real sight to be seen. By the self serve tills there are 3 plastic bins.....1/4 full of receipts! Our hearts stopped. The tills always have a floating SA so what do you do? We just stared at each other...all those homeless little wombles just wanting to be loved! I did consider dropping my bread rolls into the bin but thought better of it.

    How do you all dry your wet wombles? I have mastered the crisp two at a time technique. Car blowers on full, one on each palm, face plam towards dryers. I have coined it the 'womble crisping technique' and it is coming in very useful in this prolonged super soggy weather. *Health and Safety warning* - do not try this if you are the driver.

    Me and Nannylala have just got back and got some.B/C is 000711 for the £2.50 one. They would only let us buy 2 packs each:eek::eek::eek:So when I got home I complained to HO, I understand with champagne and stuff but it's loo roll for goodness sake;)HO went mad as they know its going through at £2.50 and are quite happy to sell it at that. So the nice man is sending me a GC for £10 as an apology;)I don't usually phone them but a limit of 2 packs of loo roll:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Thank you about cleaner :T

    Hope Nannylala's rang HQ :rotfl::rotfl:

    If the receipts are very soggy all I do is note the numbers down and screw up the receipt and pop it in the bin :D

    I've just been to T's by CBB studios. Don't know who is meant to be going in the house tonight but there is a large queue to go in, larger than I have seen for a long time. Could be a good wombling opportunity as the crowd often buy alcopops and snacks in T's and leave the receipts on the ground. In fact the SELs in Ts were a mess, lots of new offers not showing. As if they had carefully removed all the old offers, but had the displays with the new offer goods up without the SELs. No loo roll.

    I used to be addicted and quite often got tickets (locals got priority) but gave up the year DS did his GCSEs as I didn't want us to be distracted. 6 years BB free!

    I have decided I definitely want a soup maker. Now, I know all the saucepan and stick blender bits, but I leave things to boil over if they have to cook for a while :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Anyway, I currently have £25 on my nectar card, so I am going to do the Nectar Adpoints every week, therefore earning another 250 points each week, and should have enough points well before next winter to treat myself to one for free :D

    Have you got the nectar search bar too you earn points with that ;)

    hi all,
    spoke to ellejmorgan today. I did let her know that she was missed. she wanted to you know that she cares. She also said it was ok to let you know that she is in a lot of pain because of her crumbling discs. She has a lot of pain in her shoulders and neck too. Obviously this makes her quite depressed and she doesn't feel strong enough to be sociable. A consequence of the medication is that she needs to sleep a lot. She is also has three children.

    I also got my cheapy xmas cards today. Also managed to pick up whoopsies are a cheap bingo night. I did manage a womble too.

    of to cook a chicken stir fry now...

    Thanks Rosie .... Send gentle hugs to your sis from me.
