So did I. I kept refreshing expecting it to appear. :rotfl:0 -
Onto a new topic, I ought to be doing a lot more wombling. Managed a couple of receipts in half an hour this afternoon - would have been three, but I found the first one, scrawled up, only to find it had only 6 items on it.
Both are from shops done late this afternoon, so need to wait another hour or two before I can enter them. I doubt they'll come to much... but as the bionic man on these sorts of things(!), one of them might give a small amount vs Sains. if they bought the right milk. Doubt they did though. The other one seems a waste - bought too much reduced stuff and soups on reduction at 50p.
I did get an extra £5 off a £40 once before... from a Sada receipt that I found in a Tosco car park!! I can never understand people who throw away a receipt that is automatically going to give a voucher (of a reasonable amount off a non-totally ridiculous total shop) even if it didn't give a further APG as well.0 -
I bought these before Christmas from the QVC Outlet store in Shrewsbury.
Here they are on website at £180 :eek:

And here they are on my stairs. Ignore ticket price as there is 50% off ticket price:D (& an extra 9% that day for QVCs 9th birthday :T )
They have Stingers Hi & Lo for £29.99
I love them:T:TBeware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
hi all,
spoke to ellejmorgan today. I did let her know that she was missed. she wanted to you know that she cares. She also said it was ok to let you know that she is in a lot of pain because of her crumbling discs. She has a lot of pain in her shoulders and neck too. Obviously this makes her quite depressed and she doesn't feel strong enough to be sociable. A consequence of the medication is that she needs to sleep a lot. She is also has three children.
I also got my cheapy xmas cards today. Also managed to pick up whoopsies are a cheap bingo night. I did manage a womble too.
of to cook a chicken stir fry now...grocery challenge 9.86/600 -

I've been out all day  First, I went to big T's for loo roll. Sel was £5, but I asked for a price check. They had loads:j Also found the cat food that was mentioned on HUKD. I bought this one reduced from £2.99 to £1.49, sel was £2.99 http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=274767583
I thought I would play safe and get fish as my cats are very, very fussy! they won't eat it. But they will when they are given nothing else:D I bought 8 boxes  They had better eat it. Will have to give it to the strays if they don't! I got trouted at the till with my M&S voucher and apgs! I chose a very young SA too. He didn't look a day over 12! He would only let me use the morrisons fiver & 5 x £1 lenor vouchers. The lenor infusions 1.16ltr is on offer at £1.68 - not bad for 68p after voucher. it's quite a big bottle.
Only got 2 wombles, but that is good for this store.
I went to a different sada, in the next town. I found some decent whoopsies. They had loads of shropshire blue cheese, (round pk, 500g) reduced to 30p and muller corner yoghurts (pk of 6) reduced to £1 and they were dated 22/1! Also got some large toblerone reduced to 75p They only had 2 on the shelf. I looked for the TAG chocs mentioned on HUKD, but I only found the large boxes and they were full price. The SA on the till was sucking on a very bitter lemon when she served me! I used apgs to pay for my shopping and didn't spend a penny. She wasn't happy because the till asks for supervisors approval if you pay for your entire shopping with vouchers. Will remember this next time! she was like"most people use these vouchers on a big shop" I should have said "really? well im different dear. I'm a wombler" Only wish i'd had the nerve to say it:rotfl: Got 2 wombles, but it was hard work finding them! one gave me 92p and other gave me £3.87:T
Blimey! that was long:o0 -
Hi everyone
I've mostly been lurking for the past few nights as I've had to pretend I was really paying attention to the films OH was watching instead of tapping away on my keyboard
A belated Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to everyone and hoping that 2013 brings better times to all those who've had a bad 2012.
Babysitting for my grandson tomorrow night - will be first time I've changed a nappy in over 20 years :rotfl:Many a mickle makes a muckle.0
