Im still having problems with my PMs, I've sent 3 now but still nothing in my sent box
Savvybuyer: you got my 2nd PM but not my 1st one. I replied with a 3rd to tell you what had been in my 1st but again its not in my sent box.
My original PM was a reply to a post that I was unsure if I was allowed to say on the forum. Maybe I'm not allowed to say in PM either but myself and others have now said this before in this thread. Anyway its not really that important what I wanted to say but I'm just a bit confused now about why my sent box is empty :huh:0 -
Must be between Nikkilala, HC, Miss Laid and French Knickers ( who should be on that MIA list)
Think Miss Laid asked for idea's for a fancy dress party, and going as a womble was suggested ( fq had to scarper quick ). :rotfl:
Nice to see you posting Fudge( you no Neosi is still your number 2 fan ) :rotfl:

Morning all and thanks to all those who wished me well...
just off to the hospital now to admit OH but no word from work, no call, nothing.
I feel like I am invisible as they seem to think that I will be going to work on friday as they have refused annual leave to look after OH as he cannot be left alone after discharge from hospital.
Family comes first - can't you self-certify for one day? Have not read back so don't know the details, but if you are going in on Thursday I would suggest that you categorically state that you will not be in on Friday, you will be taking compassionate leave. If you are not going in tomorrow then you could simply develop aches and pains throughout the day, or go around looking extremely stressed and making simple (but unimportant) errors, be enough of a pest for them to send you home and then ring up on Friday telling them you do not want to be a nuisance and you think you should stay off. None of it would be lies anyway, you will be stressed and stress is recognised as an illness.
Had a right to-do with my old boss, I was not contracted to work on Saturdays and had had something arranged for this particular one for nearly a year. The person that normally did Saturdays couldn't do it so he just assumed I could. I took advice from my old manager and told him I could not do it, this resulted in him shouting at me for 20 minutes trying to make me feel guilty (he could easily have asked for cover from another shop if he had been willing to return the favour, which he was not, but that was down to him), my complaining to head office, and in the end my resignation because I realised he wanted to tell me when to work and planned on trying to make me work every Sunday
Long story short, I realised my family was going to lose out so I stood up for myself. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Was seriously considering having to resort to using the Mr T Real Food mags instead, then last little petrol station we found open had one pack, was the last pack, extortionate £2 for 2 rolls...........but I was very grateful..........:D:D
I commented this morning that we seemed to have gone throughloads of loo roll over Xmas:eek::rotfl:Luckily I only have to nip to the "corner shop" in my garage;););)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
