Hi. Off on my drive soon. Just want to add that DW shares the driving with me! I'd never manage 450 miles as a solo driver!:DThere is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0

Morning happy driving, did I see you mention about only getting pakora up here in Scotland ?
I thought it was a traditional Asian dish, not a Scots Asian dish, I am finding that really interesting, the girls I used to work with in call centre used to make it for our staff buffets - lovely much better than supermarket ones : )0 -

I had a bit of a bad experience today re wombling. Warning this is long but I need to vent.
Nice morning, thought I'd take DS to the park. Decided to park at Ts and walk up through town to the park to maximise wombling opportunity. Empty car park, not raining, quite a few receipts, remembered to take DSs wellies to the park as it gets a bit muddy, DS having fun in the park, so far so good.
When I took DSs wellies off at the park to put his normal shoes back on, I realised that in the 30 seconds of being out of the pushchair earlier before I changed him into his wellies he had managed to step in dog poo :mad::mad: aaarrrgghh. But glad I saw it before it got smeared all over the pushchair cosytoe.
Went back to the car, stopped and bought a box to tidy all his books away, did some more wombling, drove home. Managed to tramp mud on my carpet from my boots.
Suddenly realised that the box I had bought (a faux leather thing) I had LEFT OON TOP OF SOME TROLLEYS while wombling :wall: so grabbed a fresh pair of shoes, bunged DS quickly in the car and zipped back to Ts. Phew, box still there.:)
Got back in the house, and saw to my horror that (how I DO NOT KNOW) I had managed to step in dog poo, and not only that I had trodden it into the carpet.:mad:
Good job I managed to get a load of Vanish stuff in the AvW glitch.
What is it with me and dog poo today? Harrumph.
Oh no, just realised it's probably all over the car footwell aswell. Sigh.
You know what they say muck for luck :rotfl::rotfl:
This makes me  i wish folk would pick the dog poops up takes a second to do. I buy nappy sacks and they cost pence
What annoys me is i use just as many sacks picking up cat poops from my front garden wish they would do it in their own garden :mad:Quite right FunkyFeet, the reason why so many deserted the thread was said to be due to all the in-fighting and unpleasantness especially during the mass APG glitching days. Things have returned to normal and the Elite thread is again the lovely comfy friendly place it was, but that is thanks in the main to the people who stuck it out and continued to post, plus the lovely bunch of newbies we have now. These newbies are fully fledged Eliters now and are a credit to the thread :j
So where are the existing Elite who left for safer ground? Why don't they return when they said that the arguments where spoiling the thread? Yes, I see why they left, but, honest folks, it is safe to come back into the water now
The Elite thread is once more what it was before, but it is still missing it's heart. The people who started it off and made it what it became, a legend. PLEASE come back HOME guys
Just my opinion
Well said 3Dogs :T:T:T i only stayed because i knew it would get back to our cosy Home. I am glad i didnt post what i wanted to postwhen it went offkey or i would have been banned for life
