Morning all and thanks to all those who wished me well...
just off to the hospital now to admit OH but no word from work, no call, nothing.
I feel like I am invisible as they seem to think that I will be going to work on friday as they have refused annual leave to look after OH as he cannot be left alone after discharge from hospital.
Hi
I have needed lots of time off for children's hospital appts and ops, and my employer is usually very good, but there are certain times when annual leave is refused, Christmas/New Year being one of them because the annual leave days are rota'd fairly between all staff. But, they will sign off an application for compassionate leave or dependents leave instead, usually paid (but payment is discretionary), so maybe try this route?
Hope all goes well x0 -
Today is the last day for using the Baxters soup coupons.0

A few offers ended yesterday in T so for the DTDrs keep your eyes peeled. Did see the Technika Barcelona bluetooth speakers which were £15 reduced from£40 which are back up to £40 today. Not that good in terms of speakers but a healthy return if you find them;)Awaiting a new sig0

Could be a morning to visit T as there are masses and masses and masses of offers ending yesterdaySadly, T.com has not updated yet, so difficult to tell which may or may not change/roll over, but the booze aisle, particularly champers, is worth a browse, as the New Year deals may not roll over.
Sains prices have changed, is it usually a price change day that things glitch?
I've been thinking of visiting T, using my Av T and Sv T lists saved on MSM to see what T have increased in price - was going to take the whole list and see which SELs haven't been changed in my local stores. Sadly they know me too well in one of the stores, and claim they'll have to put any DTD in writing to head office and wait for them, so I think I might try the other T store to save all the hassle.
It seems like price changeover may have been postponed to tonight on many of the T offers as many were set to valid to today on MSM. I think the MSM lists, on the T side, are now showing some higher prices - Ace Stain Remover 1L for one - some of which may now be online for deliveries starting tomorrow. So, early doors tomorrow might be a good time to go.
Also - thank you to Sainsbugs - they've put offers on many of my favourite items, at least 8 of them, so off to Sada for an Av S shop next time round.
S have also now reduced their price on the Garnier that they had for over £7 which in T was/still is £3.57. S have now beaten T's price - S is now £3.50 (probably still quite high for many people on here, certainly in the context of far better glitched prices). The Garnier was one of the "branded" items on my Sv T list (which should be only items not avail in A meaning you couldn't do Av T for 10% cheaper). It was Sv T, but now it's more expensive in T, it moves onto... the Sv A list (as N/A for A) or, possibly better, should be bought (if desired) in T, vs S - in order to try to encourage T to bring its price down.
Have a good day.:)0 -

Will watch him may even put mark on window when he's due ;)and if they dont get cleaned shoo him off saying cant afford him.

Patty how is hubby's leg doing.
Great cast off today and he has got straight into car:D A little pain it seems and a limp:eek: Thank you for asking.never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -
Go to your doctor tell them you are stressed out and not sleeping due to worry, get a sicknote for a week and then you are covered.
I have been with my current employer for 7 years and the only time I had off was when my mum was dying. You are thought of no higher when you put the job first, as I have found out the hard way.
First class advice hun as always:Tnever stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -
