  • I hate having to use cash when I go shopping anywhere I'm always terrified that I won't have enough with me or something - neither me or OH drive though so we tend to do online shopping which is a lot easier for a control freak to play with :D

Are you on FB? if so search for local selling pages and list your items on there, plus im a member of a dedicated craft page on FB (if you want the link I can pm it to you :)) it is solely for crafting items :D that is anything from handmade items to the stuff you use to make everything (so if you have scraps of material/ribbon/buttons/charms lying around gathering dust you can sell them on :j :j) Payment is 90% via paypal though you do get the odd PO or cheque so make sure your prices include the paypal fee.

They are a lovely bunch on there, very friendly and with some fabulous makes (I take no responsibility for anything you may BUY off there :rotfl:) but certainly a good outlet for crafty items, especially if you make something a bit more unusual (obv loads of jewellery people on there) like fimo items.

thanks jakes-mum would love it if you sendme that linkits certainly a place to start!! Lovingthisforumm so far really giving me the motivation to get going, half anhour ot at work today and 4.5 hour shift booked for tomorrow, that'll go towards things, although I won't see it until the end of Feb.

Sarah, if no one is living at your house you can do a council tax holiday for up to 6 months. I did for mine. It is well worth it. Good luck on the refurbishment x

Hi fennmad I have had the house for quite some time now (embarrassingly). I had initial council tax relief for 12 months can I get another one??
Moving into my house will be the biggest saving as I am currently paying all the bills as well as £200 board. Plus when I phoned the council I they said I have to pay the full amount of council tax despite the fact when I move in I will be able to get single person occupancy go figure??? I have set a goal for moving in by march regardless of the state of the house so will have a bit of cash boost to go towards paying the debts off!!

Thanks Spagbol. I shall make some time tomorrow and work out my target :j
    Mortgage - £105,500

Can you PM the link to me as well? My mum would be very interested in that!

Paid my tiramundi money into the bank today, turns out I counted wrong, and there was £80 in there - so now I just owe £410! I'll update when I get a bit more together though.

Had a lovely dinner with friends tonight, the last before I head back to work on Monday. Sad to go back, but will be glad to get back to the routine, eating normal food again, and getting back to the swimming pool!
