    Well done Jonesy :)

Something has changed in my head...I am actually saving to buy something even though I could go straight out and buy it now. What have you done with the old Kerri you lot? I've just priced up a PC I want and have decided I have to save money from fleabay sales and anything else I can sell before I can buy the parts. Something out for something in :)

If only I could learn the same attitude with my diet, life would be complete! :rotfl:

My sister has offered to pay me back at the end of this month now, which is fine for me. I'm also due £130 of expenses from work and a £30 refund for a cardigan I really didn't need to buy! That will cover christmas presents and train fare to go home.

Hi everyone, sorry I have been absent for such a long time. I hope everyone is well and getting on ok. We have had a rough year really and I suppose that is wht I have been absent, feeling really down etc.

I thought it was high time I came back to give an update on our debt situation :)

We have now paid off £5622.31 of the £12, 403.90 we started out with. We now have £6781.59 left. I make that 45.33% paid off so far

We would have liked to have paid off more over the year, but I suppose we shouldn't complain too much as it is still a huge dent in our debts.

That's an amazing total well done everyone. OH has given me half the money towards the car service so I've split it between savings and my new pc savings fund.

Aww, I was getting quite excited he might have made an appearance. Will keep my fingers crossed he comes on time!

Has the OH started his new job yet?

come february i may decimate my savings to pay off my remaining debt (minus car) then double my savings per month (ie what i wouldve been paying to debts). not sure if this is a sensible strategy or not?? decisions decisions
