Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2013

Brightpurple over 95% now - that's tantalising! Well done :T It's good to have something to aim for.
I have been trying to work out a realistic amount to scrape together for Christmas so that I don't leave myself financially scuppered in January. If I can reach the end of January without having to scrape the crumbs out the cupboard, then I know I've gotten my money management under control!0 -
I set up a plan with T£sco today to repay my debt and I've said £30 a month. I intend to overpay this first as it's smallest and I'll feel better when I'm done.SPC #3420

oh dear oh dear, it's going to be a tight month. loads of people owe us money and are not paying up! they seem to think we have an endless supply of cash when actually we don't.0

You've just reminded me I haven't looked to see if my sister has paid me back yet. She borrowed £50 2 months ago. It's not fair people aren't paying you back though, can you suggest they pay you back half now and half later?0 -

"i can't afford it this month" is the excuse........ my sister owes us £50, o/h's brother owes us £65, my mum owes us about £50 and o/hs parents owe us more than £50, can't remember how much exactly...0 -
I'd tell them how much money you are due between all 4 of them, and that you can't afford to be out by that much. To keep it fair, you are asking all of them to pay you back at least half by the end of the week, or in future you will only loan money to one person at a time in future (so if your parents owe you money, your sister can't borrow a penny from you).
Have looked back through my bank account, and my sister hasn't paid me back either. I hate having to chase. I know she's just forgotten (one of her pets died last month) but I don't want to leave her short of cash, so feel guilty asking.0 -

Well done Jonesy
Something has changed in my head...I am actually saving to buy something even though I could go straight out and buy it now. What have you done with the old Kerri you lot? I've just priced up a PC I want and have decided I have to save money from fleabay sales and anything else I can sell before I can buy the parts.
